Slow stitching 101 with Lisa Mattock @foragebylisamattock on antique / vintage French linen night dresses sourced personally by me in France. Friday, 16th and Saturday 17th April, 2021... 10am to 3pm Balmain Studio We will be using authentic antique nightdresses, sourced personally by me in France for our Slow Stitching- 101 class at Gramon in Balmain. Lisa Mattock, textile artist, will share with students the stitches and techniques involved in creating wearable pieces of art from reclaimed fabrics and treasured finds. No previous stitching experience is necessary, but is of course welcome. I have a wonderful space at the back of my Balmain studio for classes. My Balmain studio is HQ for both my businesses Gramon and Scottish Cashmere Australia. It is a veritable Aladdin's Cave of treasures which you will be so welcome to explore!! The cost of the class is $150 plus the cost of the genuine vintage / antique nightdress which I personally sourced from France. The cost of the nightdresses are $65 to $75 which includes the discount I'm applying. You can come and choose your nightdress any date before the class or on the day. Everything else that you will need to complete your artwork is supplied. I will prepare a delicious lunch of finger sandwiches, cake, biscuits and slices plus all the tea and coffee you desire. As a special incentive everything you buy from my studio on the day of your class only will have a 10% discount applied. For those of you who know me this is a very rare opportunity as my prices are relatively very good. Compile a wish list especially from my cashmere website. Maximum 6 students on each day. 19.01.2022 This super salad dressing bottle has changed my salad dressing life. Bought at the Super U in France at Christmas time with my lovely friend @kristij42. Wonderful salad dressing recipes on the side where you pour in the required amount of ingredients up to the line indicated. Best salad dressing ever. Served with a salad this evening and lamb pie made with last night's leftover roast lamb and rough puff pastry which I learnt to make at @mummascountrykitchen. A brand called @leifheit_uk.
