22.01.2022 Our pottery workshop is off the agenda but a creative sculpture alternative was suggested for Saturday 13th June. Lockdown Sculpture or bread dough sculpture is fun and achievable for all ages including children. Recipe... 2 cups plain flour 1 cup salt 1 cup water Gradually mix mix water into flour and salt mixture. Knead for 5-7 mins. Keep in airtight container and use within 3 days. To make your model use a brush and tepid water to join pieces, like using clay. Cook in moderate oven 20 - 25 mins until slightly brown and hard. Varnish when cold or paint. 09.01.2022 Pomonal Village Market Sunday 26th August 2018 Spring is almost here and Sunday is looking very spring like so perfect timing to visit the Pomonal Village Mar...ket. The theme this month is wattle so wear some wattle or come in green and gold to join in the fun. Market Co-ordinator, Alison Bainbridge said there will be over 35 stalls with many wonderful handmade items as well as new and used items. The market is open from 10.00 until 2.00. Jackie will be selling hot and cold lunches from the hall kitchen as well as morning and afternoon teas and Maria will have the coffee van just near the front door. Inside the hall you’ll find preserves, spices, pottery, cards, candles, crystals, cleaning products, jewellery and craft and outside there’ll be oodles of plants, books, haberdashery, Alpaca wool goods for sale and loads more. The Pomonal Progress Association is going plastic bag free so please remember to bring your own bags. Cloth bags are available to purchase for $2 from the Community table and they have some free paper bags. Enjoy the sunshine with the family or friends in the friendly little town of Pomonal nestled on the eastern side of the beautiful Grampians ranges.
