22.01.2022 Winter sunrise above Grampians Paradise Camping and Caravan Parkland by Shaun Duncan. https://youtu.be/sJBvnRSn_3c Back in early July, during the Covid-19 lockdown, we had only one couple staying with us. They could stay here as guests as they could not return to their home in New South Wales.... On the morning of the 7th July Shaun and I (Aidan Banfield) headed down below Grampians Paradise and into the fog and giant old River Red Gums, and waited for sunrise. At an opportune moment, Shaun sent up his drone to see and film the amazing view as pictured. To see the stunning video footage follow this link. https://youtu.be/sJBvnRSn_3c

20.01.2022 Grampians Paradise Camping and Caravan Parkland, LOOKING FOR A SUMMER JOB or WORK EXCHANGE FOR CAMPSITE? We would love to find someone(s) to help in our family run campground over the summer.... Ideally someone who is happy to tackle a range of tasks to help us to keep our grounds and campers happy! Need to be able to clean BBQ’s and outdoor camp kitchen, assist with other cleaning jobs if required, assist with rubbish collection and pitch in if on site in event of emergency. We try to keep vehicular use in the campground as low as possible, so must be happy to wheel a wheelbarrow if needed, and happy walking, we keep pretty fit walking around the grounds! Generally we find a range of jobs which suits each team member and then we all pitch in an help where needed when things get busy. The best way to find out how this works is to give us a call. We will provide training, and will negotiate hours with the new team member, it is likely to be 3 or 4 hours twice a week for starters, mostly weekdays and within business hours. This position could be filled by someone wanting to do a work exchange for campsite fees, it is a great place to spend time. If interested, please give Aidan a call on 03 53 566309, or send an email to [email protected] Where are we? 443 Long Gully Road, Pomonal, Vic. (approx. 10 mins drive from Pomonal Store, 15 mins from Moyston).

14.01.2022 Wildflowers will be ‘happening’ right through the spring and into summer, but spring is a treat! A few spotted on my walk last week.... Visit Grampians also shared some... https://www.visitgrampians.com.au//a-guide-to-the-grampian

05.01.2022 Thanks Lisa Eastick and Tom of Wanderlust Glamping for your amazing set ups First Glampers in a few months as life slowly returns to normal in the campground

04.01.2022 The frogs are croaking, The birds are singing And we are busy working on trees. The gates at Grampians Paradise are going to be opening up to campers from 2pm Wednesday 23rd September just after the Equinox. We’ve delayed our opening to give our team time to do a few days high level tree pruning.... We all look forward to seeing campers back on site soon. In the meantime Aidan has traded the bridge site and office for a chainsaw and serious pruning gear. This little swamp wallaby was very curious as to what was coming through the gate this morning....it’s been soooo quiet over the last six months that the creatures have thoroughly enjoyed having sole use of the campground.
