21.01.2022 Our pottery workshop is off the agenda but a creative sculpture alternative was suggested for Saturday 13th June. Lockdown Sculpture or bread dough sculpture is fun and achievable for all ages including children. Recipe... 2 cups plain flour 1 cup salt 1 cup water Gradually mix mix water into flour and salt mixture. Knead for 5-7 mins. Keep in airtight container and use within 3 days. To make your model use a brush and tepid water to join pieces, like using clay. Cook in moderate oven 20 - 25 mins until slightly brown and hard. Varnish when cold or paint. 12.01.2022 We had a great time getting together (covid safe of course) at the Pomonal Primary School Art Room. We are creating our entries into the "Master the Masters!" art competition run by the Gallery Central in Nhill. It is where copies of Masterpieces are created by living artists ie us! It is a very challenging exercise however a lot of fun. March's workshop will be a second chance to work our entries. It was so good to see everyone....
