20.01.2022 Hello to all members: Due to current government regulations in place regarding the Corona Virus, we have no option but to suspend the current season of the Grampians Superleague Darts. The current stats will remain in place until such time as we can continue with this competition. As for now, everyone please take care and we will see you when we restart.

20.01.2022 Stats after Week 1. We played one round before the Ararat Hotel closed and now that it has reopened I guess all players will be looking to throw some good darts. Dave Jenkins and Wayne Jenkins had the bye but will be looking to play this week and get on the scoreboard.

19.01.2022 There are some interesting stats after 3 rounds but as I previously stated with 2 byes each week it is difficult to predict where players will finish however the win percentage should give you some idea.

17.01.2022 Grampians Superleague Darts 2020 . Round 4: The match of the round was played between Robert The Wizard Wohlers and his arch rival Wayne Jenkins. The last time these two met was in the B Grade Grand Final played at The Shire Hall Hotel on the 10th of October 2017 where Wayne defeated The Wizard in a tense Final 7 games to 6 so The Wizard was looking for redemption in this one. The crowd that gathered were not disappointed as this match was tied at 4 all with both p...layers feeling the pressure, Wayne had numerous shots at match as did The Wizard but it was The Wizard who got the bragging rights this time with a peg of 4 in 42 darts. Brock Bull played Scott Osborne and it was Scotty who prevailed with a high peg of 122 in 24 darts and another nice short game in 20 darts. Brock won the last 2 legs and the final result was Scott 5 to Brock 4. Kelli Hilton lined up against Frank Parker and although Kelli tried hard she was unable to match Frank in the scoring department. Frank winning 9 games to nil. 12.01.2022 These are the stats up until the 18th of March 2020. The Corona Virus was upon us and we had no option but to cancel that competition. However as this was an official Grampians Superleague competition all the stats will be recorded in the players ongoing records. The highest peg up until this date was Scott Osborne with 122 and the shortest game was Frank Parker with 15 darts. Frank Parker ( 2 x 180’s ) and Kelli Hilton ( 1 x 180 ) will both receive a badge. The stats have been sorted by win percentage and players average as some had played more games than others.

11.01.2022 These are the stats after 4 rounds but I have included all other future games that have been played. That will be why some players have played more than others, this will correct itself has rounds are completed. Just check the players win percentage and average which will give you a better idea of how they are performing.

10.01.2022 Hope everyone is going okay and having a bit of practise ( as in a verb). I have had some discussion with Aaron and Dougy and we have decided to continue with the current competition as we had played 4 full rounds with some players throwing some great darts and it would be a shame to see them lose those stats. I have made a new draw and some catch up games will need to be played. Not sure when the Hotels are going to reopen but am thinking the comp will resume in late July or early August. Hopefully will see you all then and stay safe.

10.01.2022 Grampians Superleague Darts 2021 . Round 10: Frank Parker played Bruce Williams and Bruce had an opportunity to take a couple of legs due to Frank’s slow start. Bruce however missed some doubles and Frank took the match 9 to nil. Scott Osborne matched up against Damian Stevens in what was a high standard match with a total of 27 tons scored . Scotty was on fire with the scoring and peg outs and didn’t give Damo much leeway. Scotty winning 8 to 1 with a 20.36 average.... Dougy Goulter was too experienced for Dale Hilton in a somewhat ordinary match. Dougy was not in his best form but run out a 7 games to 2 winner. Kelli Smith played Robert THE WIZARD Wohlers and fair dinkum she gave him a nice old whipping which will go down in folk lore as WHIPPING # 1. The Wizard never recovered from Kelli’s 4 nil lead. Kelli appeared very determined to win this match and she sent the WIZARD packing. Kelli winning 6 games to 3. Aaron Jenkins and Matt Bunting squared off in a match that DOTS needed to win to stay in touch with the top 4. DOTS settled down and came out a convincing 6 games to 3 winner to keep his top 4 hopes alive. Andy Delley played Mark McGee in a match that was expected to go Mark’s way. Mark lost his way and Andy capitalized on this and in somewhat of an upset won the match 5 games to 4. 08.01.2022 Stats after 2 rounds show Frank Parker and Dougy Goulter in their usual positions with Bruce Williams in unfamiliar terrority at 3rd spot. There are 2 byes each week and no points will be allocated for the bye so these positions can change quickly.

07.01.2022 Stats after 10 weeks. Only 1 round to go and Scotty Osborne looks like getting 2nd. He plays Mark McGee but Mark would have to win 7 2 to take 2nd spot. Doug Goulter could snatch 3rd and Andy Delley plays Aaron Jenkins with only one leg separating them. It should be a great night next week. Good luck to all.

06.01.2022 Under the restrictions currently in place across Victoria, attending an incorporated association meeting is difficult so I have applied for an extension of time to Consumer Affairs Victoria to hold our AGM. The extension of time is for 3 months so I think we would be looking at around late January to middle February 2021 to hold our AGM. Hopefully we will be back playing DARTS at around this time. 06.01.2022 Grampians Superleague Darts 2020 . Round 3: Scott Osborne squared off against Andy Delley with both players looking for a win. It was Scotty who prevailed but only just , Scott taking the honors 5 games to 4. Brock Bull played Robert The Wizard Wohlers and Brock proved too good for The Wizard although Wizard was not without his chances and if he wasn’t so intent with throw a ton he may not have busted that 118 peg out. Brock winning 5 games to 4.... Dave Jenkins proved too good for Doug Goulter for the second time in as many comps. Dave rattled off the last 4 games to take the match in convincing fashion 6 to 3. Wayne Jenkins played Frank Parker and while Wayne was scoring well Frank was hitting his doubles and this was the difference. Frank taking the match 9 games to nil. 04.01.2022 Grampians Superleague Darts 2020 . Round 2: Finally got Round 2 played and check out Bruce Williams : Two from Two, He is on fire : Last week he stitched up Scotty and this week he’s done the trick on Wayne Jenkins. Bruce Williams squared off against Wayne Jenkins and Bruce continued with his form from round 1 when he defeated Scott Osborne. The score was locked at 3 all but Bruce won the last 3 legs to defeat Wayne 6 to 3. Kelli Hilton played Dave Jenkins and although Kel...li started off in the first game with a 180 she was unable to keep that form going. Dave winning 6 games to 3. Doug Goulter and Scott Osborne played in what was supposed to be the match of the round. Scotty won the first 2 but that was where it ended, Dougy winning convincingly 7 games to 2. Frank Parker proved too solid for Andy Delley who has returned after a season off and is still finding his previous form. Frank winning 9 games to nil. 02.01.2022 Stats after 9 rounds: Frank Parker heads the list and mathematically cannot lose the top spot with only 2 rounds to play. Scott Osborne and Mark McGee are tied for 2nd with only 00.12 separating them on dart average, these two play each other in the last round so it could be a match for 2nd place. Doug Goulter and Andy Delley are tied for 4th with 1.31 separating them on dart average, Doug has a seemingly easier draw and could make up a bit of ground. Aaron Jenkins is 3 behind in 6th spot but has to play Andy Delley in round 11 so once again we have an interesting match up.
