19.01.2022 How incredibly lucky are we for having Will from the Livefast Cafe to share these stunning photos with us. He's made the trek up to the Mt William summit in t...he Grampians National Park, not once, but twice today. We just love the winter wonderland you've discovered on your journeys Will. What magic.

19.01.2022 Why did the kangaroo cross the road? Marc Sleeman from Grampians Tourism says local wildlife are making the most of Stage Three restrictions and are taking ...over the region! He has told us that kangaroos and other native animals are taking advantage of fewer people on the roads. Halls Gap resident Tina Baker snapped these roos skipping over a zebra crossing on Monday. Have you noticed more wildlife out and about where you are? ( - Tina Baker)

18.01.2022 Getting that close up photo with Lulu Keep an eye out for our beautiful reptile friends during these warmer days. If you are ever lucky enough to see one - ...don’t panic. Back away to a safe distance and your unexpected visitor will move on. Contrary to popular belief, snakes don’t actually want anything to do with us. A snake will only bite if it feels threatened. Here at Halls Gap Zoo we love all our reptiles and hope to educate and raise awareness about them so we can all appreciate these amazing animals

15.01.2022 A stunning new silo art piece in the Grampians! The project is the work of local artist Kyle Torney who spent around 800 hours creating the masterpiec...e which depicts the Gold Mining history of the St Arnaud in the Northern Grampians. The process involved around 30-40 trips a day up and down the silo to check the artwork from a distance to ensure the image is in proportion. Mr Torney is a sixth-generation resident born and raised in St Arnaud. "I called the silo art ‘Hope’ which is reflective of the gold mining period but also resonates with the current climate," Mr Torney said. ( - Grampians Tourism)

14.01.2022 Break up your hiking adventures in the Grampians National Park with a picnic at one of the region's pristine waterfalls. Here we have Mackenzie Falls, one of th...e largest and most spectacular waterfalls in Victoria - a must-visit when you're in our region. If you'd prefer to avoid crowds, down the road and over the hill you’ll find Beehive Falls in the North. From Wonderland car park you'll find the majestic Splitters Falls, or take the fern-laden trail south to Silverband Falls, just fifteen minutes' drive from Halls Gap. Visiting Southern Grampians? The Hamilton area is home to two wonderful waterfalls fed by the Wannon River Wannon Falls and Nigretta Falls. Our magnificent waterfalls will leave you breathless, The Grampians Way : @wildlifetours
