05.01.2022 Oh @justinemissen.photographer - we love your work in the Grampians I organised this styled shoot a little over a year ago, just two weeks before my son was born. Id never photographed or even witnessed an elopement before but I knew based on my love of capturing connection with the couples I work alongside that intimate weddings and elopements would be my jam. Id had the dream to capture more of these magical days and start @grampianselopements for a while but between b...abies and really throwing all of myself into capturing weddings, it sat at the end of my to-do list. I knew Id get to it eventually but I had no idea it would take a global pandemic to bring elopements into the spotlight and to really give this dream of mine the time and love it deserves. Im. So. 04.01.2022 Welcome back Gab! from @nettaandgab_weddings who has returned to the camera since little Lola arrived. REPOST We wont lie, we may have started off a little rusty when we knocked on the wrong door - the poor neighbour had no idea what was happening when we told him we were here to photograph the wedding - his face was priceless. After our little directional mishap, the rest of the day went smoothly, kind of like riding a bike really - I dont think we will ever forget how to tie a tie, pin boutonnieres on straight or put a brides veil in!
