19.01.2022 The author of these books, Noel Tunny, grew up during the war and lived in Charters Towers where the US Air Force established a base from which they attacked Japanese targets in New Guinea and the Philippines, as well as participating in the Coral Sea Battle. As a result he became interested in the history of the air war in the Pacific. These books contain many photos of Charters Towers during WWII and content about how life was during the war years.

Each book has many photos of bush graves, with their accompanying story. Many tragic and lonely tales.

11.01.2022 It doesn't take much to make my day....and this did yesterday!! Purchased from our Sell, Swap, Buy site in the morning, emptied old shelves and removed. Put in "new" shelves and fill 'er up!!! (In alphabetical order, of course ) Big improvement......AND it holds MORE BOOKS!!!!! Thank you Carley!
