25.01.2022 We have some lovely childrens books in, old favourites : The Secret Garden. The Railway Children. Pippa Longstocking, Milly Molly Mandy. Snugglepot and Cuddlepie , Peter Pan etc . For the older kids we have Goth Girl,and Miss Peregrines home for Peculiar Children. Some new audiobooks available , Nora Roberts and R.D.Robb, Wilbur Smith and Ion Idreiss. We have a good range of board books including Hairy Maclary, Snugglepot and cuddlepie and the Old Lady who swallowed a fly. In the gift area we have some lovely scented gift packs, hand knitted Teddy bears and larger cloth bears . If you are stuck for a gift we have gift certificates. Don't hesitate to call in and sat Hellol !

23.01.2022 In this week , some lovely books for the men including , forgotten Heroes , story of the Waler horses in Gallipoli, Whittling with the Swiss army knife and a little book on Knots. For the lover of classics , Daphne du Maurier,s Frenchmans Creek, My cousin Rachel. Jamaica inn, [ There really is a Jamaica inn ! on Bodmin Moor] and The Birds . All these books have been made into films and Jamaica Inn is now a mini series on T.v, In the stocking filler line we have gorgeous little peg dolls all individual , hand knitted teddy bears , various scent dispenser packages,dream, catchers and lots of incense. 20.01.2022 Okay it's getting to that time of the year, My distributers have started making noises about cut off dates for Christmas shopping. To be on the safe side please order your special needs by the 1st December. We have some great books for mums, dads and kids, We also have gifts available. Patricia Cornwell's Chaos and due this week , for the romance lovers , Nora Roberts For stocking fillers we have incense, fragrance packages , tarot cards . meditation c.d.s. Now is the time to get motivated and come in to see , touch and smell .

As you can see we have books to suit all ages both new and classic . We have beautiful scented pakages in various perfumes . Stocking fillers are littlr dolls , teddy bears , scent diffusers , hand made soap and incense. 04.01.2022 I will not be at the shop from Wednesday to Saturday next week . My lovely daughter is going in for surgery and I am the designated carer. However Sue will be looking after the shop for me so please pop in and make her feel at home.I will be back the following Monday . With a bit of luck , Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be in on Tuesday afternoon.
