25.01.2022 First stage of colour correcting and going lighter completed. My advice when transitioning from dark to light is to go with the colour changes and have FUN with it! It can take up to 3 goes of lightening over a matter of time to get to your Goal Colour. Your hairs health will always be our number one priority, so slow and steady with all your hair remaining on your head is the goal Absolutely loving this beautiful Copper and Style Cut. 12.01.2022 Does anybody else dread hair wash day as much as I do! just kidding I love it after I’ve finished washing Did you know that everyone has a unique washing schedule, you don’t have to wash the same amount as Jane! Always do 2 shampoos and focus on your scalp! The first shampoo only takes off the outside layer of dirt from your cuticle! Conditioner/leave in treatments are meant for your ENDS! ... Everyone’s Hair is unique, so a personalised hair care routine to suit YOUR hair will result in your most healthiest hair! You shouldn’t rough up your hair with a towel after washing, your hair is in a fragile state when wet, so your just hurting your poor hair cuticles! Long Hair always needs a treatment instead of conditioner (I’m being naughty, and my hair is paying for it ) Only ever brush your hair wet with a detangler or a wide tooth comb, normal brushes & combs will snap your hair! Don’t tie your hair up wet really tight, those poor baby hairs around your face will suffer. Plaits/Loose braids are perfect when wet! Your hairs health starts at HOME! 08.01.2022 Have you ever wondered why your scalp becomes tender and sore where you always tie your ponytail or bun? Your continuously causing too much stress and tension in the same spot on your scalp, especially if you never change up the position of your pony/ bun. Fun fact, your scalp is worse when your hair is dirty, because all your excess oil/dandruff is blocking your hair shafts and causing inflammation and sensitivity. If this occurs give your scalp a good brush, wash and try a new style!

Since we’ve got some time on our hands with Lockdown, why don’t we have a go at creating waves to look good for the couch A combination of using a curling wand & straightener = super EASY! ... Curl your roots & mid lengths of hair with the wand and leave your ends out to straighten. Spray with @elevenaustralia texture spray to texturise & secure. Comb your hair with your fingers to get that dishevelled look. In order to get my hair to frame my face, once the front is curled, pin with a clip to create the framing shape. Then let cool. Who else bops along to music whilst they are styling their hair?

04.01.2022 To WASH or not to WASH? I am always asked when is the best time to wash your hair before a colour service. When our hair has a dirt/excess oil/product buildup, It creates a barrier on our hair cuticle that colour has to fight through. ... This means our colour spends more time pushing through that barrier then doing its actual job. Resulting in not achieving desired lightness/depth, lack of colour longevity, longer processing times or stubborn greys left behind. I recommend washing your hair 24-48 hours prior to a colour service for optimal colour results!

04.01.2022 Trust the Process The evolution of our lightening process over 3 sessions When lightening our hair we are lifting undertones from our hair, such as red, copper, yellow. We need to fight through these tones to get our desired colour... The darker your hair or extensive hair colour history, the more undertones we have to lift whilst maintaining your Hairs Health It takes time & patience but is totally worth it when your Hair looks this good!
