A very heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us, its been a crazy journey so far, a labour of love, full of incredible milestones, growing pains and overall a bucket load of fun! My advice is if any of you are considering starting a businessdont delay do it now, learn from your mistakes And keep going. It may feel as though you are hitting every closed door and wall but you will get your breakthrough. You will also... rise to the success if you keep going, even if you fail thats ok you got to just keep going and pushing past those barriers. Its not easy but remember youre built for this. If I can survive 9 years with the odds against me none of you have anything to lose. We gain by experience, a thirst for knowledge and the self belief no matter whats thrown at you, its going to be ok! Understandably, this is triggering for many & also causing deep division. I would like to add just because our opinions differ I dont think its necessary to inflict hate & ill intentions towards each other. Its really concerning to find people wish death, business failure, economic ruin, disease etc. Really.....? 01.01.2022 Yesterday, Lifeline received the highest volume of calls they had ever received in the organisations 57 year history. 3, 300 calls were made, a 30% increase on the same day last year. Check on your mates, check on your family, check on your neighbours, check on the people around you. We should be doing this as often as possible, not just on days that are prescribed to this type of behaviour. However, R U OK day does give people the chance to speak up if they had previously no...t felt it necessary, may make them feel less of a 'burden', as the day is dedicated to this. So please, check on your friends and family. And if you're one of the people struggling through this time, know you reaching out NEVER equates to burdening those around you. I'm sure they'd much rather have a conversation with you and support you through this time, than lose you permanently.
