23.01.2022 As our soon to be 4 year old grandson Jay loves the book ‘We’re going on a bear hunt ‘ by Michael Rosen ( see details in last photo ) I sent a special story inspired by it to him which includes our Labrador Charlie . It goes like this : We’re going on a bear hunt We’re not scared - It’s a sunny day ! ... Charlie came too and looked in the sea Then through the bush which was a bit creepy ! We can’t climb under it We can’t climb over it I’m scared not sure if we ought a Charlie leads me through the water Then the tree rustled Oh my dear it sounds very near ! We slowly looked around but at first nothing we found But then we listened ever so scared And Charlie began to bark and look up high I held my breath and made a sigh Then I looked up Jay and began to stare At a little Joey and her mummy koala bear !
