However, one unlucky game in the spring competition of 2018 saw Carly devastatingly break her ankle, an injury that has prevented her from getting back on the field for two years! But of course, when one door closes another door opens- Caps injury would not stop her from playing a crucial role in the team. Stepping up to become the coach, Cap has since demonstrated her immense fierceness and dedication to the team, leading us through the lows and highs. One ankle surgery, several other injuries (cough*spud*cough), and a billion physio appointments later, Cap has finally made her return to football. It was fantastic having you back on the field Cap and we look forward to seeing you out there again next week!
