24.01.2022 It’s funny how your day can change. If some said to me earlier in the day that a freak wind would take the roof of your perfectly good implement shed and completely destroy it I would have said you are dreaming!!!! Surprise!!! Hmmmm! Will be looking for shed quotes tomorrow

23.01.2022 25mm of beautiful soaking rain

20.01.2022 I think we are in for some weather!!!

18.01.2022 It's been a couple of months since we have posted anything. We have had our heads down trying to manage the harvest and COVID-19. To make things worse the NSW government have stopped all visa holding seasonal workers that reside in Victoria - Mildura (in our case) from entering NSW to work. The NSW government have singled them out as being the most likely method of spreading the COVID-19. This is utterly ridiculous. These seasonal workers have been in this area for months. W...orking in the table grape industry and now in the citrus industry. We have had the same pickers at our property since May. Yet the NSW government believes that they are a risk to spreading the virus. Thank you to Citrus Australia for making every effort to partition the NSW government on behalf of our industry to have the MORONIC restrictions over turned. To all our follow Citrus growers that are affected by this stupidity, Hang in there!

18.01.2022 And we are off! Season 2020 is underway. Albeit a slow start as the start of every season is for us. Now with a few more precautions. It’s good to start getting some fruit in the bins!

17.01.2022 Stage one is complete!

17.01.2022 Hopefully on the last Vat!

16.01.2022 Please Premier, listen to Citrus Australia and all the Politicians and Mayors that represent the border communities and see that things need to change!!!!

15.01.2022 It’s going to be a stinker!!!

15.01.2022 Further delays from NSW Health in approving a COVID-19 prevention plan that would enable workers in Mildura to cross the border and resume picking fruit. We ask... NSW Health to work with us; not push back against us at every opportunity. 13.01.2022 Thank you Citrus Australia!

12.01.2022 Gladys Berejiklian it's been 7 days: - where is the influx of unemployed city folk who've come to pick the fruit? - where is the seasonal worker exemption we ha...ve worked on with NSWDPI and the Ag Minister? - what do you say to growers and workers who are struggling, mentally and physically to cope? 7 days, almost 12 Million dollars, millions of kilograms not picked Real solutions exist to the problem your government has created, but the NSW Health Department keeps inventing new ones for us to solve - if you aren't part of the solution you are the problem. Fix this, move our issue up the rung!! 12.01.2022 Thank you Citrus Australia for continuing to push this issue. We can’t sit on our hands and wait to see how next year pans out! Swift, clear and decisive decisions are needed now before 2021!

09.01.2022 Something to look forward too!

09.01.2022 53mm so far. These mounds are 450mm high. Looks like I am going to have too rebuild some

08.01.2022 We were very excited to host this field day (morning - last Thursday) on managing and eradicate the Queensland Fruit Fly and to be associated with Citrus Australia and Murray Valley Regional Advisory Committee. Everyone needs to do their bit!

07.01.2022 Another beautiful day in paradise!

07.01.2022 Woohoo the new shed is going up

07.01.2022 2 weeks ago this was inconceivable after the NSW Government imposed unrealistic and ill thought through border restrictions. Oh sweet relief! The navel oranges this year taste amazing!

07.01.2022 Time for change! Thanks to Jason from Xcav8

07.01.2022 It’s a perfect night for spraying. Hopefully if my eyeballs will hold up I will finish tonight!

05.01.2022 Spraying weeds can be quite dangerous , Mixing and spraying poisonous chemicals... oh and not looking where are reversing... that can be quite dangerous too! also I have to say in 15min I was waiting for Gary to arrive with the tractor to pull me out of the ditch 5 groups of people stop to ask if they could help including Daniel Lazar from EE Muirs & Sons - can’t complain about the service, even out of the shop these guys go the extra mile!!! Thank you all

01.01.2022 Yesterday while installing some new irrigation equipment, my dog Dennis was barking at something a few rows away from where we were working. I went to investigate and I was confronted by this big bloke who was ready to defend himself. Thankfully I was able to get out of the way and safely take this footage.
