20.01.2022 We all love a great before & after - this garage was pretty bleak when we bought this property. We couldnt use it for a car as the driveway was too narrow. We opted to maximise the space by converting it to a home office and a storage room with bifold doors that open to a deck. 19.01.2022 We are taking an extended summer break (our first as a family of 5!) after a big year in 2019. Thank you to our clients, sub-trades, architects, designers and suppliers... and of course the Grange team - everyone worked so hard this year. We are firm believers that building is a team sport, and beautiful homes cant be created without the teamwork and partnership amongst all these people. 2019 saw us turn 5, and we completed a rebrand to mark half a decade (thank you @smac...kbangdesigns for your creativity). In 2020 we will reveal the completed Bayview project (design @natashalevak and landscaping @formedgardens), which our clients are currently enjoying a summer break in. 18.01.2022 Getting into the festive season a little early - our wreath arrived today! Another incredible dried creation we had made by Mel and the team at @whitehouseflowers. We reused the base from last year, and this time chose items which would dry well so we can hang it elsewhere after Xmas and continue enjoying it. Featuring white hydrangeas, gum nuts, amaranth and more. @ Sydney, Australia

15.01.2022 The final countdown is on till we hand over #GrangeBalgowlah to its new owners in a few days. We will miss it, but we will take 5 big years of memories with us (moved in as a family of 3, leaving as a family of 5!). 14.01.2022 Staircase details from #GrangeClontarf. We built this recessed handrail, added a LED light (dimmable) inside the opening hidden from view to create diffused light, and a shadow line detail beneath it. The floors are @tonguengrooveau - search the project hashtag for more photos, as they are a herringbone finish and look incredible.

14.01.2022 Were getting really nostalgic about this house... Its hard to describe just how much its changed over the years via two big renovations, and the countless hours invested in making it the perfect home for our family. Swipe across for a glimpse of the in progress shots of the north eastern corner of the house during the first renovation - formerly a dark and poky area with a bedroom, bathroom & outside laundry, its now the hub of the home, orientated to soak in the NE aspect and flow open out to the garden. We are ready for a new chapter & project, and hope to find a suitable house to buy in the year ahead. In the meantime were focusing on the sale. Interiors and construction @grangebuilding. The biggest investment here aside from the joinery was in the tiling itself to get the detail right #thedevilisinthedetail!

10.01.2022 Wrapping up the most unusual year... we are lucky to have been able to continue building homes this year despite the craziness in the world. We have many people to thank as we wrap up 2020 - our clients for entrusting us to build their homes, the architects and designers we partner with, our suppliers, sub trades and our own Grange team. We also have Johnno from @sydneybeachhomes to thank for his mentoring over many years. Looking ahead, in 2021 we will complete our latest build in Balgowlah Heights (roof will be done before Xmas!), a beautiful designer residence in Elizabeth Bay, and of course a few projects at home. 09.01.2022 Its time to start nesting! One from the archives, featuring the first nursery we created (after our baby slept in a pram bassinet for a month, and happily lived in 4 homes in 2 countries in his first 3mths of life as we relocated from Singapore). The cot pictured here is a very special family heirloom having had about 10 or 11 babies from 3 generations sleep in it. Were dusting it off in preparation for our third babys arrival this spring. 03.01.2022 Recently we turned 5 and to celebrate were launching our new branding. Our mission is to build homes of remarkable design to enhance the lives of those who live in them... and we wanted our brand to reflect everything @grangebuilding is about... Modern | Sophisticated | Agile | Pragmatic | Innovative | Fastidious. We will be rolling this new look out across the business and we cant wait to show you the rest of whats been developed (pictured here is our primary logo, alternating with our brand stamp).
