25.01.2022 TRIALS POSTPONED - NEW DATES BELOW Due to the weather our fields will be closed tomorrow. We are hoping Wednesday's session will be able to go ahead (7pm) and have added in a session on Sunday 20th at 4:30pm. New and existing players are all welcome. We hope to see you there.

25.01.2022 U18 - FQPL\DIV1 in 2021 Grange Thistle will be holding U18 trails (FQPL\DIV1) this coming Tuesday and it’s not too late to join the team. Come down at 6.45pm Lanham Park, 1 Prince Street, Grange, QLD, 4051.

24.01.2022 Grange Thistle Over 35 Div 1 have taken out their cup final with a 7-1 thrashing of West End Partisans on Friday night. Playing the last match on Lanham Park for the 2020 season, the game was wrapped up at half time with a 5 nil score at the break. Mike Reid top scored with four in the match and fifteen for the season earning him a golden boot for the side. Player-coach, Paul Arnaud, said Once we found our groove, we grew into the season and finished strongly. We’re definitely looking forward to next season. Well done lads.

24.01.2022 BPL | Derby Day Saturday! The boys travel to Albany Creek this Saturday night to take on our local rivals! Do not miss this one! Get on your best tangerine and get down to Wolter Park to help cheer the lads on in what is a crucial fixture in this seasons Brisbane Premier League!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Grange Thistle FC on being awarded an FQPL 2 licence. What does this mean for our Club 2020... The competition structure of the NPL Men’s and FQPL Men’s has been reviewed. FQPL 2 License applications called for. GTFC submitted an application (which was successful)! 2021 The 2021 NPL/FQPL competition will see new licences available to create a transitional league (FQPL2) Eight (8) clubs will be included in the 2021 FQPL2 Men’s & U23 competition. The period for each licence is 2 years, commencing in 2021 and concluding in line with the existing licences awarded to incumbent clubs in 2022. Promotion and Relegation will apply from 2021 between the NPL, FQPL and FQPL2. 2022 FQPL 2 licensees must have the following team compositions: Senior Men, Under 23 and Under 18 (from 2022) The FQPL2 competition will comprise of 10 clubs following promotion and relegation based-on finishing 2021 positions in the NPL and FQPL. Promotion and Relegation will also include SEQ Zone Premier Leagues based on the performance results in the Premiership fixtures of the Senior Men. 23.01.2022 BWPL | A 2-0 win down at Broadbeach for the Thistle girls, in their final game of the season. Karen Jamieson smacked one into the back of the net in a goal box scramble off a corner, putting the ladies in front in the first half. They held the lead convincingly throughout the game and Haylee Broccardo sealed the deal in the dying minutes, with a clinical header at the back post off a brilliant cross from Josey Barrett. A fantastic finish to a tough first season in the Brisbane Premier League. Congratulations girls! COYT!!!

19.01.2022 As you may have heard, we, unfortunately, missed out on a license for the 2021 Women’s National Premier League. While we are disappointed that we were not successful in this application, we are nonetheless excited for the season ahead and to continue to grow the fantastic Grange Girls Program that we have been building over the last few years. It will mean that we can continue to be a community club providing opportunities for girls of all levels and abilities. This will i...nclude an expanded Girls Academy Program run by Technical Director, John Cook. With all of this in mind, we would like to assure you that players from our all girls teams from 2020 will be offered a place at the club next season without needing to trial. We ask that anyone planning to return in 2021 (or anyone who is considering it as an option) to please fill out the Expression of Interest Form at the link below. http://www.123formbuilder.com/form-5684958/form We will be advertising available positions for teams that may not be full. Therefore, it is important to secure your spot early so that we can assess the numbers and strive to fill any gaps necessary.
