Don’t panic, you didn’t lose a whole lot of months overnight. It’s not Christmas yet but at the Granite Belt Christmas Farm the Christmas trees are growing up, Santa’s animals including a baby donkey are happily hanging out and being hand fed by visitors, and there’s a brand new Christmas store to explore. Christmas tree grower Brad Fraser and his (freaking delicious) chocolate maker wife Katrina Fraser have been busily expanding their shop to go from a small space in the cafe to a much bigger Christmas store. I had no chance getting out of there without a new addition for my travel tree, and am now planning a trip back in winter for a little Christmas in July moment where drinking lots of rich hot chocolate with marshmallows just has to be done. The new look store opens this week just in time for Easter and has some gorgeous Easter bunnies and chicks and other decorations so pop on in if you’re traveling to or through the Granite Belt.
