22.01.2022 Another Fantastic review of our Castles, Cafes & Cabernet fully guided tour. Trip Advisor April 2021 Great way to explore key sights of Stanthorpe... Thoroughly enjoyed our bicycle tour, stopping at the cheese factory, a gorgeous winery, an apple orchard and other interesting sights. Very friendly and lively guide who made sure everyone was comfortable, safe and happy. Nice easy riding at a leisurely pace. A great way to explore the area. Riding through the apple orchard was my favourite bit, very special and memorable. Definitely recommend a cycle tour with Granite Belt Bicycle Tours.

03.01.2022 Granite Belt Bicycle Tours has an exciting position available for a driver and assistant tour guide. The job is weekends only. The role involves: - providing vehicle support to customers on our guided tours (our vehicle provided) - additional support and assistance to the Tour guide / Ride guide whilst on tour... - loading and unloading of bicycles on to racking system on trailer (lifting up to 20kgs) - assisting with setting up customers on bikes, including but not limited to, adjusting seat height for rider comfort, ensuring customers have water, explaining brakes, gears etc - interacting with customers - carrying customer purchases and ensuring they are safe for transportation - ensuring personal items of customers are safely secured. Must have: - valid drivers’ licence with a clean driving record - your own ABN - a friendly personality with the ability to communicate in a polite, friendly manner with staff and customers - the ability to work autonomously - good organisation skills, punctuality and ability to foresee potential issues ahead of time regarding bicycle touring It would be desirable if you: - have a passion for cycling and bicycles - have some historical knowledge of the Granite Belt region or the desire to acquire this knowledge - are fit, active and enjoy meeting people - have some tourism experience or worked in tourism previously If you meet the criteria above and enjoy showing tourists the region then we encourage you to apply.
