25.01.2022 Hi all just been out at the range checking on the progress of the access road up grade. They have carted over 120 tonne of fill on to the road so far, more to come. Its taking shape and will be a great improvement and asset for the club.

20.01.2022 GRANITE BELT BOWMEN Folks, as you know the Branch Shoot was cancelled this weekend for Roma (due to excessive rain in the area). Usually a Branch shoot means no club shoot on that weekend. And as we still have key members away or working this weekend, this will still stand - NO CLUB SHOOT THIS WEEKEND. We will be back to normal with a club shoot the following Saturday 27th March. I’ll send out another reminder during that week. Fingers crossed for some good rain in the meantime.

09.01.2022 Howdy Folks. Now that the "Sample Month" for 2021 is over (ie. January) - It's time to get back into the swing of club life for the year. So if you haven't been out for a while (or a long time) get on board - it's time to come again - we are missing you!! Shooting THIS WEEKEND - Sunday, 7th February... Kicking off with a WORKING BEE from 9am to install the last couple of posts for the practice range shade structure. Free sausage sizzle for workers at 12 noon. Then we are open at 12-2pm on the practice range for private practice and coaching upon request. If you need a hand with your shooting or bow adjustments, this is the time to ask for help. Then onto the range for a round at 2pm. Bring your BBQ lunch, cook it up on the club BBQ between 12-2pm. Reminder: 2021 Club Membership is due. Forms will be available this weekend at the club. Dennis and Brett are looking for a hand to help with School Holiday Come and Try Sessions. They'll be one day per week - 2 hours from 10-12 most probably on a Tuesday (or Wednesday). 08.01.2022 Well what a huge 3 days from Nigel and Terry Eldrige doing our access road. They have made a silk purse out of a sows ear fantastic job. If you are looking for someone to do some earth works for you I can throughly recommend Nigel.

06.01.2022 Urgent notification from Branch D regarding the Lakeside Bowmen Branch Shoot this weekend....

05.01.2022 Morning all, at the branch shoot last weekend the club grant application for $2000 was approved by the branch committee. This will go towards our access road up grade. Work will start tomorrow and should be finished by the end of the week. This will make our access road more suitable to low 2 wheel drive vehicles. Pictures to follow in the comming days. 01.01.2022 I know we had a number of members planning to go to Roma this weekend. Poor old Branch D is not having any luck in the shoot holding department. The Roma Club has a decent river/creek running past the property and a good number of gullies running through, so we hope there is no major damage to the grounds.
