21.01.2022 How good is it to see the town water supply at Storm King Dam... going from 21.1% to 100% in just 36 hours. Havent seen rainfall like this for 10 years. Today - having some fun with young friends and enjoying the vision of seeing the dam full. #southerndownsandgranitebelt #granitebeltwinecountry
20.01.2022 Do you remember Rachel Eddy, #letssendthematruckloadofwater fame. The 2 water convoys, the 1000' &1000's litres of drinking water,(300,000litres or so),food and school supplies that she raised funds for. I don't think there would have been many people in the region who did not benefit in some form or another from her generosity and long hours that she worked to support us in our time of need. Now it's our turn to help. She and her family need funds to get cancer treatment for... her brother-in-law Dayle. The gofundme link is below. Rachel is also holding a raffle to raise funds... any business or group wanting to donate, contact either Georgia Stewart or myself for further details. The team at GBDA will be looking at what we can do to support them in their time of need. https://au.gofundme.com/f/dayle-gordons-cancer-fight

12.01.2022 What a great start to the Drop In centre project with several people dropping by for a cuppa and chat... Being able to come in, being welcomed and given a cuppa and sandwich while you chat makes a huge difference to loneliness, relief of anxiety and stress. It gives support for everyday living with practical support and information. Quote of the day...'see you next week' made our day. The Scrabble board got a workout out as well.... Everyone is welcome to drop by and say G'day! See more
