20.01.2022 2020 keeps getting better and better! 20.01.2022 Alrighty friends! Little bit of an update in regards to covid/bookings/studio procedures It was announced today that as of Saturday the 8th of August, the border to NSW will be closing. As we have a few clients who are travelling from NSW, we will be getting in touch today to reschedule your appointments. Please wait for us to get in touch with you, as weve been inundated with messages and are trying to get through them as quickly as possible As of lately, weve also t...emporarily suspended tattooing anyone from Brisbane, anyone who has been to Brisbane (specifically since the 21st of July), or anyone who has come into contact with someone who has been to Brisbane recently (specifically since the 21st of July). This will be until further notice. A huge thanks to everyone who has been so patient and understanding during this turbulent time; lets stay safe, stay healthy and keep the doors open

11.01.2022 So today marks the original date for reopening under the covid restrictions and Im so, SO grateful Ive been able to be back at work for the last two-ish weeks Ive met some super cool people, done some super fun tatts and had the warmest welcome back ever I thought it might be time to put a face to the name for one of our team members as well; everybody meet Granite Inks front counter extraordinaire, Courtney! ... 07.01.2022 Aaand that’s a wrap! 2020, you were uh ... memorable Covid, injuries and all the other hiccups aside, this year has been incredible! The biggest thank you to each and every one of you that has supported me since opening My dream studio has turned into something bigger and busier than I ever imagined, and that’s all thanks to you guys! Your patronage doesn’t only warm my heart, it helps support three local families and allows us to do a job we love. Of course a special men...tion goes to Courtney, Andrew and my wonderful husband for making Granite Ink what it is today and for helping me make it through this year relatively unscathed We will be taking the next week and a bit to rest up, spend time with our families and get ready for the year ahead. So from the elves at Granite Ink (yes, I made everyone dress up - what good is power if you can’t abuse it in the name of Christmas spirit? ), we hope you all have a marvellous Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the new year! PS. We’ll reopen on the 29th of Dec and the phones/Facebook will not be monitored until then. Tattoo studios are under Stage 3, so it looks like I wont be opening any sooner than the 10th of July. Im absolutely heartbroken, but theres not much that can be done at this stage. ... 05.01.2022 A huuuge thank you to everyone I spoke to today about rescheduling appointments and those who sent messages of support - its been a rough day, but your kind words have made a world of difference and Im so grateful As the studio will be closed for a while, I have a few things that I wont be needing and would like to donate them to an organisation or group who really need them. Its not much, but I have the following items to donate;... - 2x 4 packs of double length paper towel - 1x 345ml bottle of Isocol rubbing alcohol - 4x boxes of disposable nitrile gloves (sized medium, 100 in each box) - 20x disposable face masks - 1x pack of disposable disinfectant wipes (hospital grade V-wipes, 50 wipes in pack) I want to make sure it goes where its really needed, so please feel free to comment down below if you have any suggestions

03.01.2022 BIG NEWS Let’s all give a huge, warm welcome to Granite Ink’s second artist - Andrew! This has been in the works for a looong time now and I’m so excited to be able to announce it at last! He may look tough and have a better beard than me, but he’s an absolute softie with awesome artistic talent - I know he’ll be an incredible asset to the studio and can’t wait to work alongside him ... Andrew’s a fully licensed, seasoned artist with a decade’s experience behind him, and loves doing all styles, specifically dark themed grey wash and some realism (I’ll be posting more of his work over the next few days!). After hanging up the machines for a bit upon relocation to Stanthorpe from Brisbane, Andrew’s now diving head first back into the work he loves and will be joining me full time at the studio as of Wednesday the 14th of October While he won’t be actually tattooing until the 14th, his books are NOW OPEN! So give us a buzz asap to secure your spot with him
