We ask for cash so your child feels they are paying and we will wrap it and place it in a bag, so you can't see until your child decides to give it to you.

10.01.2022 Hi. Incase you are new to this page, I'm Mel. I run this page for Grannie and just happen to be her youngest daughter. I want to apologise for not being so a...ctive on here. This year has been nothing short of a crazy crazy year. Starting off with on of my best friends dad passing away suddenly, which resulted in an emergency trip to Canberra, (and more deaths throughout the next few months). Shortly after followed a trip to SA via NSW and Vic to visit family and friends. Granny, Brian and I also got to meet the latest addition to the family, Audrey. Grannies great grandchild. Upon return of our family trip we were hit with the covid 19 restrictions. Thankful our holiday was cut short by just one day and I still got my relaxing thermal spa soak in at gwydir caravan park. I've also managed to do a bin outing with the creator of the "bin isolation facebook page". (was a good night when her and her friends walked into work wearing their princess outfits) . Like I said crazy crazy. So we've had our ups and our downs, now it's time to continue up. We are still here to serve you. We can do post, non contact delivery or arrange to meet at McDonalds in maryborough. Please feel free to share this page to your friends. If they live in Brisbane surrounds we go down to north lakes area once a month on average so we can try and arrange a meeting point. Enjoy our photos....

05.01.2022 She’s 98. And the isolation and loneliness came over her in a river of tears at my visit. Not able to see her son or daughter for 6 weeks. She wants to die.... Because at 98 the waiting is too much. I offered to FaceTime her son. She cried more. She wanted a real hug. I in my PPE said enough. I too bent over into her arms she wrapped so tight around me. I broke the rule. I hugged her till she could breathe. We both had a healing. I’d do it again. Love matters most. The older folks in long term care haven’t been touched or hugged. It’s causing failure to thrive.
