24.01.2022 Nothing is ever just black or white - except maybe for this dragon! So, this post might ramble a bit, feel free to skip it and just enjoy the dragon. I'm not sure if this is an update or a mental health awareness or simply a place where I can write honestly. I've struggled with mental health issues since I was a teen. Twenty years on, I still wonder, am I really depressed or am I exaggerating everything? Other people are struggling much more than me, am I even allowed to fee...l like this? I don't know. I do know that the last few months have been harder than usual. I find it hard to smile and I do have to force myself to open the shop each day and REALLY force myself to stay open (today is one of the days that I'm going to give in to closing early, sorry). There have been too many times I want to sit in an empty room and just scream at the top of my lungs, but I couldn't be bothered, there's no energy left for it. And I know I'm not the only one. Thankfully I have a wonderful family, lots of friends and fabulous people on here that keep me somewhat grounded and help me through. Anyway, rant/whinge/self pity fest over! I'm going to buy a lottery ticket because money can't buy happiness, but relief and helping other people is close enough! #dragons #mentalhealth #thankyou

We're looking at $1100 for the stall plus accommodation. Is it worth it? Is anyone going? 22.01.2022 So recently my newsfeed has been full of ads asking if I want to lose weight or get my bikini body ready for summer. I couldn't work out why I was getting such targeted ads, normally it's rip off companies stealing money for vintage style clothes. And then I realised - it's because of these guys and the number of times I've made jokes about the Doctor stopping us from getting skinny easily! 20.01.2022 Our very own Margaret Dashwood from Sense and Sensibility heading off to school this morning! Handmade dress courtesy of the wonderful Bronwyn Parry (slightly short now, but still fits!). Whilst she looks beautiful, she really wanted to go as her favourite character, Samirah from a Rick Riordan book. But we were worried that if she dressed as her, in a hijab, that we'd be accused of cultural appropriation with people not understanding that it was her APPRECIATION of the character. 19.01.2022 We love our new shop! It's so much busier than before. We're actually struggling to keep up with orders and stock. There's so much work that I actually had a little break down last week. 04.01.2022 Thank you for all the birthday love for our main mandrake man! I think (pretty sure actually!) that he had a great day and will be spending today making all the Lego he got!
