12.01.2022 Did you know you can recycle your old coffee grounds and put them to good use? Here are 8 some simple ways to recycle your coffee grounds. . 1 Use them as fertilizer for your garden. Coffee grounds contain several key minerals for plant growth nitrogen, calcium, potassium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and chromium. 2 Use them as compost. ... If you do not have an immediate need for fertilizer, you can compost your coffee grounds for later use. 3 Use them as an insect repellent. To use coffee grounds as an insect and pest repellent, simply set out bowls of grounds or sprinkle them around outdoor seating areas. 4 Neutralize Odors. You can place a bowl of coffee grounds in your fridge or freezer to neutralize odors from spoiled or fragrant foods. 5 Scour your pots and pans. The coarse texture of coffee grounds makes them ideal for scrubbing hard-to-clean kitchen utensils. 6 Use them to exfoliate. The coarse particles in coffee grounds work as an exfoliating agent to help remove dirt and dead cells from the skin. Simply mix coffee grounds with a little bit of water or coconut oil and scrub them with your hands directly onto your face and body. 7 Tenderize Meat. Add a tablespoon of fresh coffee grounds to your favorite meat marinade. The coffee will help tenderize the meat and give it a mild smoky flavor. 8 Revive faded dark clothing. After 3 solid years of roasting we decided to expand our business into mobile coffee trailers and thank you to @franks_food_vans for bringing my dream to life! I am so pleased and beyond happy with the end result. Opening my own coffee trailer was always part of my dream and is now a reality .
