25.01.2022 I hope everyone is doing ok during this time of isolation from our normal elected activities. Being in New Zealand at the time of all the changes it was nice to be somewhat self-isolated in the campervan. But little did we know when we decided to come home early that it was the very last flight out of NZ. No indication on the Qantas website so it was pure luck/gut feeling that we bought extra flights to get home, no one knows how long we would have been stuck there otherwi...se. I'm sure everyone will have a story or two to share over this crazy time we are living at the moment. I am keeping a close eye on the information out of SABA for when we will be able to return to Badminton safely. At this stage, they are suggesting it could be between 4-8 weeks away. Initially, it would have restrictions and guidelines and would be for training only on a level B. Competition would be allowed at Level C. All the best and stay healthy Evan Steele See more

25.01.2022 There is light at the end of the COVID tunnel. We will be holding a meeting soon to work out how we reopen and what guidelines we have to put in place to stay safe. Please be patient with the committee as they will be doing their best to get the shuttles flying again soon.

24.01.2022 We had a good meeting with a lot of discussion on what is needed to safely reopen badminton at Grant High School. At this stage, we are still working out how we go about it and how we follow all the regulations. This process is very new to everyone so please be patient with the committee and we will recommence as soon as we can.

We shall still be smashing shuttles this Monday night from 7pm Please keep hygiene levels up with washed hands and obviously if your experiencing any flu like symptoms please best stay home for safety of others We will also bow or 'air (non touching) high five' after matches instead of shaking hands or regular 'high fives' just so we do not pass around germs as an extra precaution... 15.01.2022 We are excited to announce the re-opening of Social badminton at Grant High school on the 29th of June 2020. There will be a few changes so that we can comply with Covid-19 regulations and School guidelines. If you are feeling unwell please stay home as we must refuse your entry. Also if you have traveled from interstate you will require a permit to travel or sorry we can not allow you to enter. Please note the yearly $25 membership is now due, the correct change would be mo...st appreciated. If you could bring a pen as there is a form that must be filled in by every person that enters the hall required by the school. When you enter the north door, using the social distancing 1.5m rule proceed along the north wall to the desk for a form to fill out and pay. Once finished there, proceed to the scoreboard to have your name registered for the game draw. Your patience & cooperation with the committee and each other will make our return to the sport we love to go smoothly. See more
