But isn’t it great to sometimes have something easy and quick to just pull out of the fridge after a long day. 07.01.2022 Follow your dreams. As we near the end of what has been a very strange year we reflect on what has been and what will be. We have been so fortunate up here in sunny FNQ. Covid has definitely affected us and our gorgeous little community but we have still been able to mostly go about life as normal. The kids have still been able to go to school, business have had to adapt but still been able to trade. The weather has still been glorious. A huge shout out to those who have ha...d to make sacrifices to help our country get through this pandemic. Southern states, its been brutal but what an amazing job you have done So as we look toward the new year we are optimistic. We hope that Australians will quench their thirst for travel locally (we all know our tourism economy needs it). As a business we look forward to continuing to bake till our hearts are full and serve the amazing people that have helped us survive through this wild one. We are so grateful for our community. You are a joy to serve and we would not be here without you. We also look forward to welcoming Australians back to our slice of paradise- we already see some new travellers in town and we hope you enjoy your time here We will be putting up the Christmas decorations soon and rolling out the fruit mince tarts. Such a wonderful time of the year. Port Douglas Sunday Market will also be holding a Xmas Market on the 13th December. We will be there with all our normal fare and Xmas goodies.
