17.01.2022 ***WARATAH IN BLOOM*** This is a photograph of Mohammad Elkawam with his new born princess, Souha. Moey started his soccer career with us in the Under 8’s and won a Grand Championship as an Under 11. He lost a couple of Grand Finals over the next few years but then with new coach and Club President Noel Dona, he won the Under 16’s Grand Championship scoring the winning goal in 2006.Then girls, work and marriage distracted him from the game he loves. Early last year he had a chance meeting with Noel in Parramatta who encouraged him to come back and play, he did and he won the All Age 5 Grand Final.This year he got as far as the Final. He is a true loyal Waratah. This is his only club, a family club, and he cant wait for his daughter to wear the mighty blue and gold stripes!

10.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to our under 9’s and under 12’s teams playing in the Australasian Sports Centre 5-a-side indoor summer competition. Both made and played in the Grand Final today. The results didn’t go our way but the tournament experience and enjoyment was exceptional and augers well for the 2021 season!
