12.01.2022 The Granville Boys High School robotics team, the GRANBOTS, are competing this weekend and next weekend in the First Robotics Competition at Macquarie University. The team has been working hard over the past few months to design and build a variety of programmed automated systems on their robot. Students attended a three day workshop at Gbhs during the Easter holiday break and have spent many hours during recess, lunch, and after school working to achieve their goals. The students have been mentored by Rockwell Engineering during their preparation and have received valuable feedback from Kai, and this is much appreciated. Throughout the process, the students have developed high order team work and collaboration skills, creative problem solving and critical thinking skills, and communication skills. Best of luck to the GRANBOTS!

12.01.2022 Granville Boys High School: Last Term Years 7-9 Visual Arts had the opportunity to be a part of the HOPE Butterfly Project. Collectively 43 HOPE Butterflies have been used to create a HOPE Butterfly mandala. They are expected to land within the University of Western Sydney in June 2021 to celebrate World Environment Day on Saturday June 5, 2021. These rare and magical HOPE Butterflies represent the students of Granville Boys High School and they carry HOPE on their wings. ... 04.01.2022 Tomorrow, Wednesday March 17, is a mufti day to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation. It is our annual World’s Greatest Shave. Gold coin donations will be collected from the gate from 8am tomorrow. At recess, students and staff will be getting their heads shaved on the playground. Please support this very worthwhile cause. All students can wear mufti on Wednesday.
