She puts up with me telling her what to do each class and works next to me 4 days per week. And workshops too!! 24.01.2022 This little sweetheart is my friend Adelaide. She lives in South Australia and joins me and her virtual class mates every week online through zoom to create art. My online class started during lockdown and continued. This gives children the opportunity to create amazing pieces of art that they may not be able to do otherwise. The students live all over Australia and participate weekly in an hour art session. They have also completed a massive panel for the zoo with us. They... are not left out!! Here is Adelaide and she has just received her little end of year gift from me. I am going to miss the online class through the holidays. I always had so much fun with them. (And every class of course) Thank you Adelaide for trying so hard through every class and being a wonderful class friend to the others. Have a wonderful Christmas.

20.01.2022 We will remember them... Anzac Day is very important to me because it was very important to my dad who passed away 6 years ago. My 8 year old son gets dressed in his old Army uniform and we remember him and the other soldiers. This year is different due to isolation but we still were able to all participated in a driveway service at 6am and I felt very proud of my two kiddies. Anzac Day is emotional for everyone and especially those who have lost someone or known someone wh...o has fought or served for our country. We appreciate you all. What better way to get into the spirit than posting a photo of my student named Poppy showing her amazing painting of Poppies. 19.01.2022 We have had a very busy last weeks of art class for 2020! What a year we have had. We moved onto online in term 2 and continued to create. We had the kids doing art through zoom on their computers or iPads from their own house. The projects they created through that time blew my mind! We are all so amazing. We then came back into the classroom in term 3 and created some amazing pieces and term 4 brought us to our major project for Halls Gap Zoo! ... We then had our Christmas week of last classes where we did some cute little canvasses that we have gifted to some very special adults who have special needs. We each made them a little painting for Christmas - and we hope they love glitter! These little canvasses below are just a few of the 56 paintings we donated to CPL - Choice Passion Life to give to their wonderful clients to brighten their Christmas. All painted by the kids and personalized with a little message and using their favourite colours and interests. We hope you loved them.

Oscar has worked for almost a week on his creation, first modelling the rainbow and then making it out of clay before painting it. Oscar is only 9 years old!... Oscar I think you could sell these! Well done - a very proud art teacher here and Im sure your parents are too. Oscar has won a whole term of complimentary art classes for his prize. I have had so so many amazing entries and every entrant should be very happy with their creation - it made it very hard to choose!!!! Thank you for your hard work to the little artists.

You have all done some amazing projects through our online platform which sometimes hasnt been easy. But we all adapted and came through with flying colours (and flying eagles some of us!!). 14.01.2022 Well we have started our online classes this week. New changes for everyone in the world at the moment and all we can do is do our best to adapt. I have set up classes so the kids can be online at the same time in a virtual classroom which means they can see and hear each other and interact similar to in class. It also means however that the parents need to do the clean up! sorry parents!! On that note, thank you to the amazing parents, I appreciate the incredible support ...I have received to keep my art classes going. I have heard its the highlight of the week for a lot of my students. Therefore, it was in my best interest to move classes onto an online platform so the kids (and I) still get their art fix every week. This move has been hard for some given they dont have the complete set up to do online training but with our phones, iPads, tablets and laptops we have made it work. I want everyone in the world during this time to keep an eye on others. It is in this isolation scenario where some people including kids can lose their mental health to some degree. I encourage everyone to see some sunshine every day and talk, just talk to each other. Hug those you are allowed to and let them know you care. Lets all raise above this and stay safe and well so we can come back bigger, better and brighter after all of this. They are all so different and so creative. I am so impressed (and exhausted ). We always have such fun!
