21.01.2022 I showed you the initial idea for the Next Consulting logo the other week, that didn't go anywhere - here's where it went next! (excuse the pun! ) This is the next test I ran, which was met with much more enthusiasm! Most times it's important to know where it's not going in order to know where it should go Ultimately, it's still not quite right though, but the final logo is being worked on right now and will look very similar to what you see here. Won't be far away!

17.01.2022 This is one I'm currently working on. Well, kind of... This is an example of where my initial idea doesn't gel with what the customer wants and you just have to be bigger than it, let it go, and move on. It's a great lesson in not being too attached to an idea, even if you think it's awesome. Being able to drop what you've been working on and shifting your energy to something completely different without getting caught up in your ego is a handy skill as a designer

13.01.2022 Mr & Mrs Rainbow Yes, their last name is ACTUALLY Rainbow - one of the coolest last names ever! This is one of my favourite things I've ever done!! All hand built, hand painted and made to perfection. This was a huge centre piece for their wedding day that now sits proudly in the family home. I used matte white for the box and text with contrasting high gloss enamel colour on the rainbow stripes. A dynamic and fun piece that is now also a loved keepsake from a special moment.

07.01.2022 Here's a graphic I put together a while back for an ongoing dance party series - Jack the House. I made everything you see here (except for the vinyl photo background). The gold effect on the bespoke typeface wasn't made with 3D software either, it's layered up and put together with some crafty vignettes in Illustrator. I also love the contrast between the flat white logo and the 3D element here - it's a nice dynamic.
