25.01.2022 Finished blue dragon for Thirroul seaside festival art exhibition next month...started yesterday at 6pm ... 10 hours of drawing and doodling ... bit longer given larger size a2 ... happy with result especially when I look back on first attempt two years ago... very sore hand and blurry vision!

Both new works submitted to the organisers this afternoon. Crossing fingers that at least one gets selected for showing.

12.01.2022 Gymea #13 "seed pods"....finally finished the final drawing of the gymea life cycle series... Total approx drawing time since concept stage ... Over 40 hours...a good weeks worth of work which has been enjoyable and uplifting. Great to be free to just create with no constraints or requirements .. Guided by unconscious play and experimentation ... Wasn't sure I was going to draw this stage as my photo of the seed pods was pretty ordinary not to mention ugly...but I am happy with the result...
