25.01.2022 So that concludes our debut event, GSF#1. I would like to thank everyone that has been apart of the event and specially those that have offered their personal time to assist and help me out. It honestly is a crazy thing, there is so much happening at the same time and running a production single handedly is almost impossible without hiccups (hence we have hiccups).... Massive congratulations to our competitors, you were all amazing and showed a lot of heart putting yourselves out there to test and improve yourselves. Special thanks to my better half, Scherijke Coetsee for having to live with me during bouts of fit and stress in the preparation and anticipation of the event. Thanks again to our sponsors, Blacmagik Finger Tape, Humble Fightwear and GFT Mandurah (Master Leo) without your support this would not have happened. I am honestly very disappointed in the live stream failure as this is what the event was all about. We are investigating, reassessing and will be improving for the next event. We ran a dedicated industrial 4G router on the Telstra network but for some unknown reason we experienced very poor bandwidth which was not present during our testing. 04.01.2022 Our co-main events runner up for GSF#1 Daz Mokaraka left his gear behind at the venue last night. As requested by his Professor, Leigh Burger there would be 5 burpees for each post like. Let's all join forces to ensure Daz is fit for his next event.
