25.01.2022 Well that's another year done and dusted. Thanks to everyone who took part in our presentation days, the kids and coaches had a blast and it was amazing to see how far the grasshoppers had progressed over the last 8 weeks. Enrolments for Term 1 2021 are now open on the website with the early bird offer running until Christmas Eve. It's not too late to enter our Facebook competition to win a free year of Grasshopper Soccer. Details are pinned to the top our Facebook page. Ent...ries close on 16th Dec and winners are drawn on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy the holiday period and we can't wait to get started again next year.

20.01.2022 This is such a fitting quote. Our team of Grasshopper Soccer coaches strive at every session to make a positive impact on every child across all our program...s. It is true. We are coaches because of the kids and the passion we have in doing something that benefits them in so many ways. There is no other feeling quite like bringing children in the community together, getting them active, developing their confidence, teaching sportsmanship and new skills. It's about developing their natural persistence, determination, discipline, dedication, resilience, work ethic and respect for others not only at our sessions but in life!

18.01.2022 Happy easter to all our Grasshopper families. Stay safe if you're taking the annual drive to the coast. Just a quick reminder that there are no sessions until weekend of 17th April, when make up sessions are to be scheduled. Details of these will be released next week. New term starts 1st May and enrolments are now open on the website.

Holt 17th April @ Kingsford Smith School Gungahlin 18th April @ Palmerston Playing Fields This gives us an additional make up on Anzac day weekend.

14.01.2022 CHRISTMAS 2020 - WHAT ARE WE UP TO? Hi there Grasshoppers We are coming to the end of a pretty crazy year, and all the coaches and background staff at Grasshopper Soccer Canberra are very thankful for all your support during a time where everyone had their own struggles to deal with.... GHS Canberra are also celebrating 3 years of bringing all the fun and benefits of Soccer to our Grasshopper families. Over 2300 enrolments have been taken over our first three years and that amazing commitment from the Canberra community has made our little venture bigger than I thought possible. So we thought it would be a great opportunity to give back, not only to our Grasshopper community, but also to local businesses and charities who have been through the same difficult year. Here is what we are doing over the remainder of this term. Firstly, GHS Canberra will be taking a percentage of our gross income from Term 4 and buying a truckload of toys to donate to the Communities at Work Christmas Appeal. We do this annually, however I feel this year it will be especially important to help as many families as possible give their kids a Christmas to remember. Secondly, we will be running a competition to give away a free year of Grasshopper Soccer enrolment to a family at each of our locations. That’s over $2000 of total prize value. Thirdly, we will be using the competition to shamelessly plug a company close to my heart. Monarch Building Solutions is where I spend my days when I’m not running around the ovals with a ball at my feet. Monarch are celebrating their 15th year of a family run business delivering quality building projects to the Canberra community and beyond. So stay tuned to the Facebook page, the competition details will be released any day now.

13.01.2022 *Term 2 enrolments now open* Thanks to all families who came to our presentation weekend, weather was perfect and kids (and coaches) had a blast. Term 2 enrolments are now open and due to commence from 1st May with a couple of location changes.... Gungahlin programs now move back to Palmerston Playing Fields for our winter period. Tuggeranong programs now move back to Kambah 3 playing fields in Summerland Circuit for the winter period. We will also compensate for the colder months by starting all sessions half an hour later. See the website for all details for term 2. Emails will go out to current Grasshopper families this week with our early bird special code to get $15 off your term fee. Details for our term 1 make up sessions will be released prior to Easter and scheduled to run before Term 2 kicks off.

13.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT - LOCATION CHANGES*** Hi there Grasshoppers This weekend will be our presentation weekend to ensure as many families as possible can attend. Make up sessions for rain outs will still be held after Easter, but as routines change between terms for families, we feel that the final weekend before Easter is our best shot for getting a full turn out.... Don't forget our sunday sessions will have location changes this week due to ACT Government field closures and re-allocations. GUNGAHILIN PROGRAM For sessions on 28th March 2021 our program will run from Nicholls Synthetic Field, Kelleway Ave Nicholls. Behind Gold Creek Primary School. Times remain unchanged. These details will be confirmed nearer the time. TUGGERANONG PROGRAM For session on 28th March, we will run from Melrose Synthetic, adjacent to Melrose High School. Parking is off Marr St Pearce. Times remain unchanged. 13.01.2022 ***AWESOME NEWS*** I'm finally getting my Christmas tree up today! Anyone else getting ridiculously excited yet? It's the most wonderful time of year in case you were wondering. Ok, now for even more awesome news......... Term 1 2021 enrolments are now open. We have secured our usual fields at Holt, Amaroo and Kambah commencing from 6th February 2021. Days will stay the same, Holt on Saturdays and Gungahlin and Tuggeranong sessions on Sundays. Times will also stay the same. All info on the website, enrolments will be through the website again this term. ***EARLY BIRD SPECIAL*** We have an early bird special running until Christmas Day. When enrolling use the code 'Santa' to get $20 off your enrolment fee for the term. Don't forget - we are running a Facebook competition to win a free year of Grasshopper Soccer. 13.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like an English Christmas! The weather is miserable for our final sessions of the year but we are going to make the most of it. All sessions are on this morning, have an awesome presentation day.

12.01.2022 I wish it could be Christmas every day Here are a few quick snaps of Grasshopper Lee having a lot of fun with this year's donation to the Communities at Work Christmas Appeal. We feel very lucky to get to do the work we do with our Grasshopper kids, and after another successful year, we were thrilled to donate $1000 worth of toys to the Communities at Work team in the Gungahlin Office.... A massive thanks to our Grasshopper Soccer Canberra families for their continued support each term. Enjoy your presentation sessions this weekend and we can't wait to do it all again next year.

06.01.2022 Hi there Grasshoppers As we enter week 7 of term, can you please check kids names and spellings on the roster when you sign in this weekend. We will be preparing certificates for our final session presentations on 12th and 13th December, and its handy to have the right names! 01.01.2022 ***Important Notice*** Hi Sunday Grasshoppers Wet weather update:... Kambah program is unfortunately postponed today. We have assessed the field and it is too dangerous to use, it is waterlogged and poses a risk to the kids. We will make up this missed session after Easter, I'll send emails and post on Facebook once we finalise details. Gungahlin program WE ARE RUNNING TODAY. The field is in good condition and will be suitable to train in the rain. Don't forget we are at Nicholls Synthetic fields behind Gold Creek Primary. If you decide it is too wet to attend, you can of course attend a make up session at Holt at a later date. Have fun!!!
