15.01.2022 Congratulations to India on an outstanding series win. The bravery and determination of this young Indian team have certainly won them huge respect around the world. They richly deserve the credit they are receiving as they rebuilt as a tight unit after the drubbing in Adelaide. For any touring Test side to win in Australia is a great feat but to win at the Gabba Fortress in something else. Both Australia and India have given a tremendous boost to Test cricket in this hard fought series.

02.01.2022 A very Happy New Year to all our Grassroots Cricket friends and supporters.

02.01.2022 Grassroots Cricket is very proud that our patron Greg Chappell has been recognised for his charity work in today’s Australia Day honours. Greg was named an officer of the Order of Australia for his charity work over the past 50 years. In 2017 Greg along with brothers Ian and Trevor and friend Darshak Mehta started The Chappell Foundation which has raised over $3 million for the homeless of Australia. In addition, he has been generous with his help to other non-profit organisa...tions. Greg has also been a huge part of the Grassroots Cricket team offering his advice and assistance whenever we have called on him. He is a major part of Grassroots Cricket’s objectives to use cricket to make the world a better place. Congratulations Greg! See more
