24.01.2022 Few new diesel tanks would go nicely on the farm. Pity theyre already destined for the vic High Country

24.01.2022 Brenton Gration rolled in the driveway at 5:30am this morning after a farm move for the last 2days. Picked up Kohl and headed off at 7am to go pick up more mach...inery for another farm move. I arrived at the new farm to pick up Kohl so Blue can keep going to move silage later and its somewhere I milked 8years ago! See more

23.01.2022 When you get 2 minutes roadside visitation with your dad who has been away since Easter, and hes not coming home but was going past closer than he has been in weeks!

22.01.2022 Few touch ups and new bolts and brackets at the mechanics before the bonnet falls off! The importance to rock your driveways and farm tracks and patch potholes before having trucks come in as it really rattles them to bits #wishfulthinking #farmtruck

22.01.2022 Out here by myself, havent seen anyone for hours, just how i like it

22.01.2022 Better give a shout out to the main man working hard and partying harder with a big mob Brenton Gration #alwaysplayingsomethingcountry

21.01.2022 Edit: spoke too soon, 24hrs later they changed all the rules and added every truck driver must have a permit to cross 6 hours of phone calls, online searc...hing and trucks sitting unknowing if our trucks could cross borders this week, or return. Vicpol and nsw pol had no insight into if the govt would deem freight and ag services an essential reason to cross borders this time. Road freight transports have been deemed essential requiring no permits or delays at borders to file paperwork! Had to get the final word off a media release 6hours later See more

16.01.2022 With trucks heading to qld and nsw this week we cant be too careful on hygiene and safety with flare ups happening all over. The boys completed their online co...urse to be up to date on awareness, rules and actions to prevent contamination. This awareness doesnt just relate to the current virus going around though. Many on farm viruses and bugs can be spread on shoes, clothing, vehicles, food etc. Its always imprtant to be aware when travelling between properties and states where all known bacteria and virus hot spots are, take precautions and when necessary wash vehicles and clothing between deliveries. Some farms even request sanitisation before delivery to prevent any cross contamintion, or provide a quick spray of wheels and boots before entering to other parts of the property to keep their livestock free from unwanted diseases. If your herd or property is unwell we will still deliver, but please ensure you let us know so we can prevent taking the bugs elsewhere where im sure theyre unwanted See more

09.01.2022 Greg Lund is a friend, and been a huge part of helping keep our business going with his work and generosity! If you can support his family during this time it w...ould be very appreciated. Ill be putting together some ready made meals for the family to take some of the stress out of home life for Greg and the boys. If you wish to contribute a meal for their family- or school lunches/snacks for the kids please inbox me and i can arrange getting these to them. - *copied from GoFund* Leongatha’s Greg and Viv Lund have been given the news no parent ever wants to hear. Your child is very very sick but we don’t know what’s wrong with him. Liam was rushed to Warragul hospital and was transferred by ambulance to Monash Children’s Hospital at 3 o’clock in the morning when the severity of his condition was realised. The past 5 weeks have been a nightmare for this beautiful family and 7 year old Liam has been through many painful procedures to try and discover what’s making him so sick. He has had bone marrow biopsies, numerous blood transfusions as well as platelet transfusions just to keep him alive. His immune system is dangerously low and his blood won’t clot, making the risk of internal bleeding another thing this poor family have to contend with. Viv has had to stop work and put her gardening and lawn mowing business on hold so she can be with Liam through all these procedures and tests. Greg also has had to reduce his work hours to look after Liam’s brother’s Brodie and Tyson. Greg has had to juggle work, school drop offs and pick ups as well as many trips to and from the hospital to do pick ups drop offs or even just to visit Liam during his extended stays. This has all been a horrible, distressing time and a huge financial and mental strain on this beautiful family. Lian has now been diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia It is a rare and very serious condition with only 1-2 people per million contracting it. It stops the bone marrow from doing its job and if left untreated the patient won’t survive. Although it’s a minor relief to know now what they are fighting. Liam’s journey to recovery has just begun and it’s definitely not a easy one. He will have a Hickman line inserted into his chest so the doctors can administer the drugs that will hopefully give Liam the chance to be a happy healthy child again who can play with his brothers, friends and return to school. It’s going to be a long road to recovery for this brave little boy. Greg and Viv have been told to prepare for a total disruption to their normal lives for at least two years Liam and Viv will be away from home months at a time while Liam is receiving drug therapy and Viv have always given freely of their time and energy to raise money for many different causes. Relay for Life. The World’s Greatest Shave. The Mothers Day Walk. Viv even shaved her beautiful hair to raise money for the cause. So now it’s time to give back some of the support they have generously given others Your support will help with : Medications and drugs for Liam as some won’t be covered by Medicare Accomodation , travel and away from home expenses. Day to day financial support for ongoing household bills and expenses. If you would prefer to donate via direct deposit here are the details below ANZ Bank Vivienne Lund BSB 013705 ACC 210661317 Thank you your kindness will make a huge difference for Liam and his family

08.01.2022 Todays lesson in dont be a Dickhead Farmer #183 Step 1: If you order a Bdouble load of hay- use common sense to have a driveway suitable for access and not have... to rip out a whole fence to fit a truck in. Step 2: Also when ordering a Bdouble load of Big Squares ensure you have a capable machine to unload- your lawn mower will not suffice Step 3: Any damages you do to a truck whilst unloading with a fully uncapable machine will be your cost so have your cheque book handy And Step 4: Watch out for an angry truckie with a screwdriver as it might end up in your eye when he sees said damages Brenton Gration keep your cool See more
