23.01.2022 Putting together a Early Falcon speaker kit and Bluetooth module with USB tonight for a customer and thought I would you how simple it is to connect. With a bit of thinking outside the box, the Gravelrash Bluetooth Audio systems can be a simple one wire connect system. I’ll show you how.... Connect your speaker outlets directly to the 2 speakers. ... Cut 2 pieces of double sided adhesive tape or Velcro to stick to the underside of the module. Earth the module to one of the speaker retaining bolts. This is turn earths to the dash/car once the speaker kit is installed. Red wire to accessories power. 19.01.2022 They’re back.. the Early bird dash plug blanks for the XK XL XM XP Falcons. We have improved on the original plastic design which was prone to UV damage becoming brittle with age by making ours from Aluminum. My dash plugs are precision made from polished aluminum on a CNC machine and use a nut and thread arrangement instead of the original stem and clip arrangement. Identical in size to the originals but more user friendly and not affected by age or UV. Suits all the XKLMP’s. $30ea plus postage. 17.01.2022 Finishing up a customers Gravelrash Bluetooth Audio module and dual speaker kit for his 66 Ford Mustang. Same kit as XKLMP Falcons. Normally I would build and ship them as 2 unit’s, the module and the dual speaker kit but I thought I would take the opportunity to show just how easy my kits are to install and if done right comes down to a one wire install. I like to subscribe to the KISS (keep it simple stupid) method, otherwise for the customer it all becomes too hard. T...he speaker kits installs from underneath the dash up through the demist grille, using all factory holes. Drop the 6mm bolts supplied into place and tighten nuts. Replace speaker/demist grille. Connect the speakers directly to the module, earth the module to the speaker bracket and your left with 1 red wire to switched power (cig lighter is always easiest)...simple hey. Pair phone to module through your Bluetooth settings and enjoy. Now your phone becomes the headunit. Existing radios are not effected or even needed. 12.01.2022 Customer Dave sent me some videos today of his Gravelrash BRAKE warning light i supplied some time back for his XP Falcon coupe he is rebuilding. Quite often when installing a later model brake master cylinder on a XKLMP Falcon the engineer will require a low brake fluid light. I make them in the original style of the Early Falcon dash plugs with a tiny 3mm high intensity LED inside. If that doesn't grab your attention its Specsavers time!!!!
