17.01.2022 S T U D E N T S H O U T O U T Last night the amazing Danica Reece got her handspring again! About this time last year she got them for the first time and after about a month they just stopped happening. She was so close to getting them again before covid shut us down for 13 weeks. Now nearly 3 months back since reopening, after so many tears, tantrums, laughs, rage quits they are back! I knew you had it, I knew they were there! You didn't give up despite wanting to! ...You kept going (even though you looked at my dirty every time) but last night I asked you : Are you going to pull and push you arms? You said yes! Are you going to squeeze your core? You said yes! Are you going to get your knees up? You said yes! Can you do this? You said yes! Then I said WELL DO IT! And you did! And girl I could have cried! 17.01.2022 STUDENT SHOUT OUT I am so insanely excited to announce that last night Chrissi got her handspring all by herself for the first time in 5 years Chrissi im so glad you joined this class we are so proud of you and we love watching how far you have come. Your more of a beast than you know! From Chrissi:... I started pole when nena had her home studio. So for about 4-5 years. But Ive had time off for being pregnant, surgerys and moving away, oh and i broke my big toe by kicking my toe hahahaha Ive always had one on one with nena. Because im not good with lots of people i dont really know (social anxiety), especially when im not wearing much lol. I was shitting bricks when I joined my new class, but ive started to over come my fear. The hand spring is one of the skills ive wanted to get for ages and i finely got it! Thanx to our awesome teacher Teesh! The screams and look on my face says it all, chrissi love ya! Teesh

07.01.2022 So as week 6 of term comes on an end... I can now say very excitedly (its a word a promise) that last night these insane legends all graduated to Advanced level! I honestly love this feeling as an instructor, I have been with some of you since day one of your pole journey others I have met along the way and each and everytime I see your faces light up as you finally got that skill (Danny and your handspring, Rach and your violator, Nic and your shouldermount) I honestly have... to fight so hard to hold back the tears because it's such a huge proud mumma moment.
