20.01.2022 Having @ninjawarriorau back on the screen this week has been incredibly humbling. To us, this isn't just a show. Its the reason we, the two co-founders met; the reason for the amazing friends made and for the support we've had. Its the reason we launched Australia's first ninja equipment manufacturing company. ... To this day, we still manufacture every grip that leaves our workshop with care and passion, and seeing the incredible athletes that grace the course is testament to the community that we are a part of. 19.01.2022 Eyes on the prize Congratulations to everyone that competed in the final of the Queensland @gravity.grips was very excited to be supporting such an amazing event and incredible athletes! #Repost @black_lightnin9 (@get_repost)... My Qld Ninja Cup round 3 report: What an epic day of ninja as the weather gods once again smiled upon us at Terrain Training. Coming into this 3rd and final round, I was in a two way battle for an unlikely series victory with a man with silky skills, in Australian Ninja Warrior grand finalist @tom101hazell . To take the series I would have to win the final round (which was possible) and Tom would have to finish 4th or lower (which was unlikely). There was 5 courses to run. After 3 course I was tied for the lead and was now unofficially leading the overall series as Tom was sitting in 5th, but likely to improve his position over the final 2 courses. But as we know, in ninja comps, anything can (and usually does) happen. I went into course 4 feeling very confident, which was probably what brought me unstuck in hindsight. I made an early uncharacteristic error, coming up short on a lache I'd barely missed in my life. That was enough for me to score minimal points for course 4 and plummet me down to 6th. I equal top scored in the final course (pictured) to bump my standing up to 5th for the day. Turns out I wouldn't have won the series anyway, because as predicted, Tom finished strong to end up second. The best performance of the day was that of @david.georgiou who consistently matched top scores all day to take a well deserved victory. Also shoutout to @dr_espen who consistently performed strong all day to take 3rd place. Congrats to "Mr Consistent" Tom Hazell for winning the first ever Qld Ninja Cup. He didn't finish below second place all series. I finished up second in the series, which I'm stoked with, because at the start of this year I couldn't ninja my way out of a wet paper bag. Hard work and dedication got me some skills. You are a beast #Repost @daveravininja (@get_repost) Last night for Ninja X class I set my students a little challenge using our new @gravity.grips.... I think one of two of them made it to the "fat" dynamite stick, but none could finish the course. That's still an awesome effort after an hour of training! At the end of the class I decided to give it a quick go myself. I just hung on for the last transition and got the finish The cool part is that while class was over, every person from the fully booked class stayed to support me (sound on for proof ).
