17.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago we outlined our plan for the next stage of restrictions easing. It was cautious. Considered. And it relied 100% on case numbers staying lo...w and stable, and testing remaining high. Pleased to say that today we can confirm that plan and take a few more steps along the way. These include a staggered return to community sport with full-contact training and competitions for under 18s resuming from 22 June, and everyone back to full competition by 20 July. Bars and clubs can reopen to seated patrons. Restaurants will be able to host up to 50. Cinemas can screen films, and theatres can put on shows. Shared kitchens and bathrooms at camp grounds and caravan parks can be used again. And the snow season has got the official green light. That's what's changing. Here's what's not. If you can work from home, you must continue to work from home. This is absolutely crucial to pulling this off, and it's no exaggeration to say that every single one of us is part of this solution. We simply won't be able to take these steps if passenger numbers on the PT network creep up and there is just no way we can have tens of thousands of people travelling into the city every day while keeping everyone safe. Three more important things that aren't changing: Keep using common sense. Keep getting tested if you have symptoms. And keep looking out for each other.

17.01.2022 I know lots of parents and students have been waiting for this one so here's all the info you need on what's happening for Term 3. As we flagged last week, al...l schools in regional and rural Victoria except for Mitchell Shire will return to face-to-face learning as planned tomorrow. Years 11, 12, and specialist school students within Stage 3 restricted areas will also start back in the classroom. School holidays for Preps to Year 10s in Stage 3 restricted areas have been extended by a week and on the advice of the Chief Health Officer, they'll begin remote learning on Monday 20 July. That's because while we're doing everything we can to drive case numbers down, it's really important not to have hundreds of thousands of kids and their parents and carers moving around every day. Few points to note: We'll still have on-site supervision for any student who needs it whether that's because their parents are out working, for vulnerable kids, or those with disabilities who need extra support. All students attending class or on-site supervision in Stage 3 restricted areas will be temperature-checked daily. Kids leaving the Stage 3 area for school will also be temperature-checked each morning when they get there. Students who received a laptop or tablet to learn from home last term should still have these but we'll also be loaning out a further 1,000 devices and 2,500 dongles to make sure everyone has what they need to learn. School breakfast and lunch clubs will continue to run for any student that needs them whether they're learning face-to-face or at home. For families on the edge of the boundary, whether students learn in the classroom or remotely is based on the location of the school not where you live. This ensures kids will be doing the same thing as their classmates regardless of their home address. I'm sure people will be wondering 'Why these year levels and not others?' We want to make sure all our VCE and VCAL kids across the state are in the same boat and everyone gets an equal chance to do their best. Plus Year 12s have next year to plan for and we want to make sure they have as much support as possible over the next six months. Feedback last term was that remote learning for specialist school students, their families and their teachers was incredibly challenging. That's why we've made this call. I know people will have differing views and mixed feelings about this. I know kids will miss their mates. And I appreciate that it probably feels a bit unsettling for everyone students and parents alike. My heartfelt thanks for your patience and resilience. There might be a few blips along the way but we're doing our utmost to make this transition as smooth as possible. And finally, to our hard-working teachers and school staff: Thank you for everything. You are truly irreplaceable.

16.01.2022 I came across this and thought it was too good not to share...the author is a lady called Caitriona Loughrey Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening. Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday. ... and the month is already over.... ... and the year is almost over. ... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed. ... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends. and we realize it's too late to go back... So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time... Let's keep looking for activities that we like... Let's put some color in our grey... Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters... I'm doing it after... I'll say after... I'll think about it after... We leave everything for later like after is ours. Because what we don't understand is that: Afterwards, the coffee gets cold... afterwards, priorities change... Afterwards, the charm is broken... afterwards, health passes... Afterwards, the kids grow up... Afterwards parents get old... Afterwards, promises are forgotten... afterwards, the day becomes the night... afterwards life ends... And then it's often too late.... So... Let's leave nothing for later... Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments, the best experiences, best friends, the best family... The day is today... The moment is now... We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away. So let's see if you have time to read this message and then share it. Or maybe you'll leave it for... later "... And you'll never share it....

12.01.2022 From 11:59pm on Wednesday, face coverings will be mandatory for everyone aged 12 and over in metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire. Victoria's Chief Health ...Officer recommends a fabric mask made of at least three layers or a disposable surgical mask as the most effective ways to cover your face. If you don't have either of those, the experts say a scarf or bandana is still better than nothing. And remember: face coverings are in addition to washing your hands, staying home, and keeping 1.5m from other people when you're in a public place not instead of. Here are some tips.

07.01.2022 One of the best builders we work with! Looking forward to seeing their new display home - at least they know some Quality Cleaners

05.01.2022 If you are struggling with your mask try putting one drop of oil on it. Im not claustrophobic but I have asthma so after a long period of time the hot air Im ...breathing in and out is almost unbearable. Today I used one drop of peppermint and it was a game changer. It was uplifting and had somewhat of a cooling effect. There are many oils you can try such as lemon, grapefruit or orange for something energizing and motivating. Lavender or Peace and Calming would be relaxing and calming. Remember one drop!!! Dont overdo it only takes a tiny bit! See more
