25.01.2022 Hearing day Monday August 5th. We attended by phone. I thought it all went ok. We got to say everything we wanted to. The GraysOnline representative even admitted their images had been improved a lot since recently with the installation of a new photo booth. He even said the car, "had a pretty hard life for a vehicle that's done 90,000ks". 2 hours later and then we have to wait for the judgement. Decision arrived by email 2 days later and our case was dismissed. UNBELIEVABLE. So anyone considering bidding on a car at GraysOnline BEWARE. You bought it you own it. If you think you can trust GraysOnline to give a 100% accurate description in every case then go ahead. I certainly will never use their platform after this.



22.01.2022 Harry Richmond-Tweed, NSW, AU No stars - don’t buy a car from graysonline... published 9 days ago I won an Auction for a car that pictured well, low k’s and was described as fair for age and condition ... marks dents and scratches consistent with age. Well to my surprise the car was covered in hail dents, hardly fair for age and miles. It also had collision damage on the rear bumper. It was not worth what I paid and couldn’t be insured due to the hail damage. I managed to contact the underbidder who pushed my win bid up a few thousand dollars. He, like I, thought the vehicle was in good condition from the pics and description. So here we have an auction that was built on a vehicle that was misrepresented with the two of us bidding the price up on a false description. Grays hide behind terms and conditions so Fair Trading say bad luck. Don't buy from Grays!!!!!!! If you must then don’t buy without an inspection. Or don’t pay after the Auction until you view it. But even then the car could be mechanically damaged and you are still stuffed. Don't buy from Grays.

21.01.2022 Horrible company to deal with. They sent me the wrong product and still haven’t refunded me for the shipping costs- approximately $100. Many hours on the phone ...and many emails with no reply. Even the supervisors at the call centres don’t follow through. Franz, Florence and James no one has managed to follow through with providing me a refund. See more

18.01.2022 Bruce Bayly MISLEADING & 'be advised', that the Kemps Creek branch show nought but Contempt for wronged customers.!!! We bought a prime mover from Kemps Creek depot,, BUT it was Misrepreaented (the truck actually had 1Million MORE Kilometres than was advertised. (Grays admitted 'error' after we'd taken delivery.) Whilst the $'s for the truck was EVENTUALLY refunded we are STILL OUT OF POCKET almost $2k atm, plus increasing business $ losses. Still Pursuing.! We will be spreading this immoral, misrepresentation FAR & WIDE, including to media, (unless the monies we spent buying and relocating this Freightliner Argosy truck is fully compensated and reimbursed to me).!!!



14.01.2022 NCAT hearing coming up in April. Focus is to be on Graysonline using false and misleading item descriptions in their listings. Anyone with a similar issue with Grays Online leave your review in this forum. I need as many examples as I can get to strengthen my case. Lets show this big corporation they cant continue to rip off the public and hide behind their auction terms and conditions. "We advise all bidders to inspect items as all items are offered as is where is" For crying out loud they are an ONLINE seller and need to provide an accurate item description. Help to bring GraysOnline to account.

09.01.2022 Well I had my mediation hearing with Grays Online at NCAT yesterday. Their defence is. They continue to insist that every bidder should inspect the vehicles or get someone to inspect them prior to auction. I paid for a NRMA inspection when they relisted the Murano I had purchased. Cost me $319.00. I am sure every interested bidder is willing to shell out that before they bid. What would you think if they give a car a good rating and you paid for an inspection or you wen...t to the yard and inspected yourself and the car condition was nothing like the GraysOnline official description. Might have saved you from buying a lemon, but You have just wasted your money and your time anyway. GraysOnline have a duty of care to make sure their auction desciption is accurate. No ducking and weaving from that. Sorry I get a bit emotional and got a bit sidetracked. Back to the description for my car in dispute. GraysOnline listing description was:: SEATS AND UPHOLSTERY; GOOD CONTROLS AND DASH; GOOD PAINT; GOOD My NRMA inspector said POOR. not FAIR EVEN, and visible accident damage. How could this equate to a GOOD RATING. Anyway they declined to make me an offer to settle so off for a tribunal hearing now. That will be in late May. Will keep you posted here. 07.01.2022 Won a fridge freezer, description said unused but condition unknow, pictures showed a big scratch on front but didn't worry me as I could cover it, inside look...ed like what they said unused. Pick it up get it home and can't get it to go cold at all. Have rang n explained situation, to be told guy I need to deal with is on leave (convenient ). Emailed the person I spoke to and got told is the lady that deals in that area, to have a reply saying oh no this is the wrong person we gave no record of your purchase. To make a long story short. Their customer service is bullshit pawn you off from one person to another. Leason learnt don't buy anything electrical from them again. Total donation to them $489 + $70 to hire a trailer See more

02.01.2022 My hearing date is now set. Monday August 5th I get my chance to put my case at NCAT for the totally inaccurate description on a vehicle that encouraged me to bid and buy a piece of junk. Anyone else who has experienced financial lose because of GraysOnline inaccurate description of items they are auctioning online please like and share this page.
