22.01.2022 Welcome back to all students together again on Monday - I'm sure all of the kids can't wait to be with their friends. The Canteen will continue to operate as we... have been for the past few weeks - online ordering only with a limited menu, remaining cashless and no counter sales. Until our volunteers are allowed back in, we will be remaining this way. Hopefully this will be sooner rather than later If you are unsure how to order online, go to https://myschoolconnect.com.au and follow the steps to set up an account. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have. Thanks from Nic See more

10.01.2022 STAGE 3 PUBLIC SPEAKING Today I was incredibly impressed by Stage 3 finalist for Public Speaking. They delivered their speeches via Zoom to the school- much less nerve wracking they said. Prepared speeches written in class, were sophisticated, well researched thoroughly interesting and delivered with passion and conviction. Topics included Gender Equity, Black Lives Matter , The importance of bees to our survival, Live animal exports, why we should all travel ; very worldly topics. Mason was the winner today, his impromptu speech on Be Prepared was both convincing and humorous and extremely well delivered. Rose was awarded runner up, her impromptu speech had us hooked from the beginning. - look out for these future leaders.

04.01.2022 ROBOT AT GPPS. EXTREMELY PROUD we can support one of our super kids currently using the MISSING SCHOOL ROBOT to remain atschool. The student can participate in lessons and even manoeuvre the robot around the class, see and talk to his friends, talk to his teacher, answer and ask questions and be part of the class again. Great to have you back E.M. Huge thanks to the hospital team for helping bring this awesome technology to GPPS. We now have 2 students able to use this incredible resource. Thanks MR A For learning yet another piece of technology to ensure your class can continue to learn wherever they are. Also a great week for writing in 1Gold and 1/2Silver. Very proud of these young writers.
