06.01.2022 Feels like home Spaghetti just has all those warmly home feels. More so, when its made with my Mums wooden spoon. I lost my Mum to cancer 5 years ago this year. Her wooden spoon is one of the kitchen items I fondly possess. While Mum wasn't the best of cooks she loved spending time in the kitchen with me. The dishes she did make give me the most magical memories. Her wooden spoon made pasta, rumballs, slices & pies. Many of my dishes are made with my Mum in mind. ... What else did she use her wooden spoon for? Well chasing me around our dining table for being a smart ass comes to mind just until we both burst into laughter, what had happened was forgotten & we could cook again. Thanks for being at our dining table tonight Mum! X
