18.01.2022 Getting our tiny humans up and moving at the moment is so important. Having them involved in Martial Arts benefits them so much more than just a physical activity. It can so greatly assist them in getting through these very interesting times, by teaching them resilience, giving them tools to cope with stress and anxiety, and of course build an amazing support network of new friends and coaches, to act as role models for them while they are navigating their way through all that childhood and early teens has to throw at them. 17.01.2022 A HUGE shout out to Ron Harding and CQ Tools Supplies Pty Ltd for donating these great prizes for the Strong Communities Ltd Fundraising Raffle. First prize is this enormous Kincrome Tool Workshop filled with tools. Tickets are just $5 each and can be purchased at CQ Tool Supplies, GAPDL Visitor Information Centres in Gladstone and Agnes Waters, and at the Communities for Children office. Funds raised will be used to provide parenting support programs across the region.

17.01.2022 If you’re starting your school books and supplies buying, we’d love it if you’re able to grab a few extra items for our fifth annual school supply drive. All do...nations will go to Roseberry Qld, to be distributed to local families and kids in need. Last year, we helped over 240 local children in need get back to school with the gear they needed. From primary to high school, If it’s new and on a book list, we’ll take it. School bags, lunch boxes and gift vouchers are also needed. Donations can be dropped to REMAX Gold Gladstone at 2 Mellefont Street or Roseberry Qld headquarters at 21 Dawson Highway, from January 4th. Thanks again for your support Gladstone. Mostly dads want to be there to hold the family together. It is important to recognise that perinatal anxiety and depression is a medical condition. It is also temporary and treatable.
