22.01.2022 Bryce Flaskass first solo exhibition explores themes of beauty in destruction, careless creativity while celebrating our primal and uncut desire to create. Bryce is a self taught artist heralding from the Sunshine Coast praised for his self proclaimed "unconventional-isms" and drenching his works in uncensored self expression, not adhering to any particular medium or style Bryces work can be versatile and challenging, bordering on the downright hard to look at, in his own words "I never dreamed my artwork or self expression to be easy to look at, or too accessible, Ill always dare others to look at my work inwardly or from another perspective". Sunshine Coast punk band Red Entries and Brisbane based artist Connor Fenton will be beating your ear drums alongside Bryces artwork. Greaser

Mitchs style of painting remains naive with bold expressions of colour and mixed media. Mitchs process is unhinged as he explores the use of collage and text throughout his work. His work developed further after his parents went on a month long vacation to Europe leaving him time to consider his practice a...nd further his use of mixed media. 03.01.2022 *** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*** PLEASE READ. With very heavy hearts we would like to announce that Greaser Gallery is no longer. Due to unexpected rapid changes within our parent venue Greaser Bar, our contract to operate as Greaser Gallery has been terminated. This was unexpected, sudden and unavoidable. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Greaser Bar for the past two years of support allowing us to create a unique, rent-free space where all creatives were welco...me to become involved in the Brisbane Arts Community. It has been a wild ride and one hell of an experience for both myself, Grace and everyone involved along the way. We also wanted to thank those who have supported us over the past two years, we have been so blessed with this opportunity and everyone we have worked with. ITS NOT ALL SAD NEWS. We are currently in the transition of securing a NEW EXHIBITION SPACE and are excited to share our new location with everyone. Once our space has been secured we will undergo a complete re-brand and announce the launch of this new space. Unfortunately the transition may take several months, so if you would like to stay informed on our progress, stay in touch via our Facebook page or shoot us an email to be added to our mailing list to recieve update on the progress of our new space! [email protected] LASTLY: For those of you who have applied with us to exhibit in 2020 it is with great sadness we cannot offer you an exhibition space, you will be contacted directly via email in regards to your application. This isn't the end for us, it's just a new beginning. Get fired up and watch this space
