14.01.2022 Now that school is well and truly back, it’s time to get started for the year. When I visit kindergartens and schools there are some amazing lunchboxes but sadly there is also loads of sugary, packaged food. Healthy alternatives are too expensive and high sugar junk is more appealing to kids so parents usually keep the peace and buy it (oh, those pretty rainbow speckled treats) These days with with most people being too time poor to make it themselves, it’s difficult. Have a read then look at some Well Nourished recipes when you get the chance. So yum, well designed and tasty (especially the sweet stuff). You may get motivated to give it a go.

10.01.2022 AUSTRALIAN TOOTHPASTES Have tried 2 out of 3 of these products. Cedel is the only one with fluoride and Grants is great for those with allergies to certain toothpaste ingredients (awesome natural kids paste)As much as I love the idea of natural, my molar teeth suffered mineral loss as a result and had to be filled along my gum line. I now use natural and fluoride toothpaste (weekly rubbed on my teeth and left a Minute)as I don’t want the chemicals but I do need the preventive measures. In all the clinics I’ve worked in there has been many discussions over what type of toothpaste is best (and it wasn’t often fluoride toothpaste) but the one notion every dental worker shares in common BRUSH YOUR TEETH PROPERLY!
