17.01.2022 I would very much like to share Janet's very amazing mosaic that she has finished for her mum. After grouting then regrouting..then removing the grout (u have to love that dremel) with lots of patience stiff hands and many hours of hard work it has paid off Janet Trully a beautiful Angel

09.01.2022 Mandy has been experimenting as wanting to produce a Statement Piece for the Garden (& gallery ) A large Orb.. very hard item to find.. So brought a plastic kids ball from Kmart.. Put 3 layers of sticky mesh and concrete based adhesive ..sealed with a 'before you tile concret sealer'..then started sticking Next step for 'Old Coast Studios ' to make a Metal stand for the Orb to shine

Alison Brown describes her work as 'the long gaze' perfectly encapsulated in her Sunrise and Suns...et series, inspired from the fading light of evening and the soft light at the edge of day. Alison has many different mediums and works with natural materials such as detritus and degraded shells to everyday objects like a simple bowl. She combines different material to construct the idea that objects out of their familiar context and exploring passage and place as an idea. This year's Open Studios event will showcase some of Alison's work as she'll be one of the many artists opening their studios to the public this year.

07.01.2022 My latest Mosaic I've just finished. With this mosaic I wanted to use minimal colours, And grouted the back ground with no filling in..I had fingers crossed when grouting..and it worked .
