19.01.2022 DONT GET CAUGHT OUT! In recent months wool has been turning up at the wool scour with brands that wont wash out. Frustratingly, some of these spray-on animal ...markers state they are fully scourable when they are NOT!!! Its a very serious issue for the wool industry and we are still investigating the matter. At present, any wool contaminated by these non-scourable brands is being rejected at the scour and is then of little or no monetary value. Dont get caught out At present, we recommend that ALL colour markers in wool be removed and kept separate at shearing. And please note this on your specification sheet. Thank you. We will keep you posted on progress surrounding this issue.
