20.01.2022 [QUICK TIP] Getting from BAD to BETTER to GOOD to GREAT! You’ve probably worked out that just because you bought a better camera doesn’t mean that you're taking better photos. There are only 3 reasons ANY photos are woeful...... ________________________________________ SETTINGS - Not understanding your camera, no camera confidence, and not knowing the best settings for each situation. CREATIVE - Bad composition and not SEEING other visual details - and not 'seeing'. EDITING - You simply can’t NOT editevery GREAT photo you aspire to IS edited - period. ________________________________________ If you don’t know how to use your good camera properly, you may as well have just stuck to taking basic photos on your phone camera...which is not necessarily bad... ...there are lots of amazing smartphone photographers out there...but if you bought a good camera...you did it for a reason...you really love photography...so lets fix this! How's your camera confidence? Can you control your camera? Are you naturally creative with a good eye for detail? Do you edit your photos? If you'd like to go from woeful to wonderful, then I'd love to help you out...ask me any questions in the free Facebook Groupcome and hang out with other likeminded beginner photographers and get tips and tricks and access to our members area so you can grab all the beginners cheatsheets, videos and guides and if your camera is new or you’ve never looked at any of your camera settings, grab the Camera Quick Setup Guide PDF & Videos to make sure you're starting on the right foot. 20.01.2022 Simply superb editing....upgrade now:

18.01.2022 My Response: It's all about OUTPUT....the most popular reason to take photos now is for digital and social media....in most cases as long as a wide angle lens can do the job, the device will do the job...times change...I'm a professional photographer and I take more pics on my phone these days than the DSLRs...I remember in the early 80's, working for a local newspaper and chatting with another photographer about this new idea of 'digital' photos and thinking how pointless to have photos stuck on a computer...lol....gotta love change! ;-) ps...We'll all never get rid of our beautiful big cameras for those few other jobs that pop up...lol...

13.01.2022 Its important to be able to RECOGNISE a good photo or 'potentially' good photo..it's important to RECOGNISE a good scene, good light, good elements that could potentially create a winning shot... Having an amazing location is one thing...recognising an opportunity to create a beautiful photo is another...you can have an amazing scene and really bad light...and other unwanted elements... For me, noticing the type of light available is the first step...it's colour , tone, angle... and intensity...due to the time of day, the weather and other reflective elements...it can make or break the shot...sometimes I come across an amazing location with subpar light and other unwanted elements in the way...and simply won't pull the camera out of the bag...getting an AMAZING photo is just plain luck sometimes...the more you get out with your camera, the more 'luck' you'll have...
