23.01.2022 We are getting close now with just two sleeps to go until the Great Australian Cross-Country Challenge Finals begin. The challenge was developed in response to the hundreds of requests we had from participants, asking to bring the 4-month event journey down to the one action packed finals weekend on September 5/6. There will be national medals for all places and all entrants receive an exclusive medal for reaching the Great Australian Cross-Country Challenge Finals.... 19.01.2022 There are so many ways to take part in GACCC. Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School - Palmerston NT built their own course around the school oval. With a diameter of 250m, k-2 ran an amazing 4 laps and years 3-6 ran a whopping 8 laps to make it to 2km. Amazing effort Sacred Heart students! www.gaccc.com.au #gaccc #greatausxcchallenge

19.01.2022 GACCC is all about getting active, healthy, having fun, and building a friendly rivalry with friends, family, schools, and others around Australia. The response has been overwhelming with 511 schools involved to date and the Most Active School Competition is really heating up. St Patrick's College, Launceston(TAS) has now taken the lead with an incredible 314 participants, followed closely by Melbourne High School(VIC) with 307, St Virgil's College(TAS) with 177 and and Sain...t Ignatius College Geelong(VIC) hot on the heels with 168 students. My 2 older kids (Jayda & Zaide) and nephew (Aston) have smashed out 3 runs this week between training sessions with their coach All Sports Speed and Endurance Training. As per usual my 3yr old sits and watches them compete so this afternoon she asked if she could run and 1k she did.I registered her and ordered her a medal and I am so proud to be apart of this event." We had people as young as 5 participate, all the way through too a 90-year-old. Each individual will receive an awesome medal in the mail in the coming week.
