25.01.2022 Taking this seriously in regards to completing repairs as things are not easing as quickly as we thought in regards to COVID-19. Great to work with clients that care. Stanton & Taylor First National Penrith. A simple letter if we are caught out and about doing essential repairs after hours or when a lock down may occur. Team work is essential in these crucial times and we are here to help all of our clients. No letter no service. Time to enforce some strict rules to protect our team. Take care.
25.01.2022 When someone beats your quote quality tiling and grout work right there. NOT. You really do get what you pay for.
25.01.2022 Another day out and about. Like all good businesses we are trying our best to ensure we protect our biggest assets. The team at Great Australian Services and our wonderful customers. We had very early into COVID-19 implemented policies & procedures to help reduce any risk and hopefully it ends sooner than later. Communication is the key. Thank you so much for the support in these hard times. We know its maybe annoying asking when we attend or before regarding the health and well being of occupants in the home regarding COVID-19 but it protects us all. Australians should all be proud of the low numbers. together we conquer divided we suffer.
24.01.2022 I heard a conversation about using baby wipes when and if toilet paper runs out. mmm Please dont as your plumbing will block rapidly as they do not disintegrate. If you do require a Plumber please dont hesitate to call. And remember Happy wipe Happy life
24.01.2022 Being on call 24 hrs 7 days a week is sometimes frustrating when you have 6 missed calls in 3 minutes and then receive this SMS at 9pm. hope the prawns were ok.
23.01.2022 Murphy’s Law. Dig a hole it will rain. Do a small re roof and it starts to blow a gale
23.01.2022 Missed it by that much Actually no they didnt lol. Sometimes a little hand digging is a good idea. Excavator = 1 copper pipe = 0. Always at the end of a hectic day Always happy to help. Unfortunately our little mate Chase was not around to help his old man out doing the backfill . Hes nearly 3 and loves dirt
22.01.2022 Always something to do. Emergency maintenance. We bit chilly earlier this morning.
22.01.2022 Ok. It’s that time of year coming up again. Formal time. Hopefully they are on anyway. It’s been a horrid year for all. If anyone knows a kid that’s been bullied,a little low on self esteem or the parents are maybe financially unable to get a formal car please get them to PM me. I can organise this car. Young guys or girls with a disability are no issue at all as long as they can travel in the car. I will try my best to help out on the days required but sometimes it’s hard. This is no charge although we would prefer local to western Sydney only. All Covid precautions will be adhered to as best possible. Thanks Jay.
21.01.2022 Not for the faint hearted. when theres a drought & trees try to find moisture. Plumbing at its finest.
20.01.2022 Just a warning to those that are selling and the home is vacant. Be vigilant. Maybe an alarm or maybe wait until the last minute to vacate before settlement. Seems like a fair bit of copper theft, including air conditioners etc and damage still going on in empty homes no matter what suburb. Make safes 24/7 We have you sorted.
19.01.2022 That noise of the pitter patter of the much needed rain and you have completed every roof repair and leak you had on your books we will sleep well tonight.
19.01.2022 Our customers are what make us. The loyalty we have in our customer base is amazing. 15 years and going strong. Good things come to good people. Thank you to each and every one of you. From Jay & The Team at Great Australian Services .
19.01.2022 Happy Australia Day from the team at Great Australian Services.
19.01.2022 When your breaking up a little grease so it is small enough to go up the pumper trucks hose and the new guy gets a little wheezy Its all good Jordan . You will get used to it in time. Roses. Smells like roses
18.01.2022 Please be patient in this crazy weather. Most repairers are flat out and are trying their best to spread themselves around. Roof leaks and flooding issues need to be done in a safe manner and unfortunately some cant be done until the rains stop Take care and be safe.
18.01.2022 Last day for our young work Experience kid Kade. I did tell him no days the same with what we do ?! Had to do some repairs at a lady of the night establishment. He was so red faced when he realised what they do. Great kid and was a pleasure to have him. Listened learned and stayed off his phone. What more can you ask. giving kids the help and start they need.
17.01.2022 mmmm that weekend afternoon you really need to get a good customer out of the Sh&t as its flowing out of all the toilets. Going the extra mile.
16.01.2022 Had to remove some spectacular wall repairs today. Apparently these were good to go for the painters to come in Cut out and replaced sections and re repairSome excel at somethings & are not so good at others.
16.01.2022 Just a reminder that heavy rains are on the way.A lot of rain forecast over a short time. Maybe think about cleaning those gutters and make sure your outlet to the street is clear of debris. Over flowing rain water into eaves and ceilings can become expensive repairs. If your stuck and need a hand call, message or text book an appointment.
15.01.2022 We get the good jobs. Another Pesty dusted & advised the customer that we could remove and complete repairs. We re treated from inside after making access hole through the plaster as chemical did not flow or spread far enough. Around 80kgs of Hive and honey. The Street name is appropriate lol This hive had been previously treated and was in poor condition so no relocation for this one sadly. Back to completed repairs and painting tomorrow. Guy always beehaving because they love the industry. Bee good if pubs were open. Maybee in a week or two.
15.01.2022 All hands on deck . Getting the urgent jobs completed as promised. Turning an unused lounge area into another bedroom. Quick response with a days notice BUT it will be done whether we climb over each other or not .
13.01.2022 Practicing social distancing. But on a serious note we are really trying to still support any small business we can. Dont let our shops and industries die. If you can share the love. A little does go a long way. Some businesses are really getting the raw end of this Covid-19 deal & the flow on effect to others businesses is crazy. Some can trade and some cant. Needs to happen across the board and get it done. Our team deserve a quick roll for breakfast. Always going the extra mile. doing the things other cant or wont.
13.01.2022 No spiders here just cockroaches. Well Well what do we have here next to the door bell
13.01.2022 Good to have 5 minutes to go through some texts and emails. 2 great reviews this week for completed jobs. New bathroom, kitchen, full repair and re paint. Owner is extremely happy. Other job just a quick repair lady has been waiting a while for. Appreciate true feed back, un like some of these job platforms that make them up big or small do the job once and well. Great guys in our team.Great work and even better social skills.
12.01.2022 Now this is just absolute stupidity. Terracotta tiles and massive roof pitch with no harness. Guessing these guys are more worried about COVID-19 than falling off a roof. Never take a risk at work even if youre employer asks you to.
12.01.2022 Some jobs are just a punish apparently No room,a fence and a massive bloody tree As usual the magician Mick gets the poo flowing as it should. #MagicfingersplumberHe also should be a licensed tree lopper. WOW those roots where a little crazy. A very happy 83 year old man. Actually he was asleep So Im assuming he will be happy lucky you cant smell These pics. Poor Jake also has now been initiated into the multi tasking and smells of our work. He did exceptionally well.
12.01.2022 When the Sh@t hits the fan we are here to help. We at Great Australian Services go the extra mile. Knowledge is what you pay for. Need Help. RING US. Please stay safe & respect the recommendations before they are enforced. Some are just common courtesy.
11.01.2022 mmmm do you let your kids free range at the moment. Do you know where they are ?! These little tackers were having a ball Smashing this derelict property up and changing their mental State. I wonder if they were social distancing. Most kids are great but some need a little schooling I feel.
11.01.2022 Happy Easter from the Team at Great Australian Services. To all of our wonderful friends, family and Customers try as best to enjoy this bizarre Easter break. Little bit of an inconvenience for a long term solution. COVID-19 restrictions seem to be slowly working so lets keep it up. Maybe FaceTime,Snap chat or just a phone call will make someones Easter. We are ALL missing out on something sadly. A hug, kiss or even a wine or beer with a mate. Take care and stay safe. Even the Easter Bunny is Suffering
10.01.2022 Some jobs I really need to learn how to say NO . Picking out tiles without damaging others is an art. I wonder why no one else takes on these jobs ?! BECAUSE THEY ARE SMART THAT’S WHY
10.01.2022 Another day in Paradise Jack and pack. Usually due to ground movement. This was from floor repairs after a bathroom leak which damaged some timbers. Very poorly repaired previously. Now it’s ready for some tap dancing on it. Nice and solid. Some people should not touch tools Check out the gap between bearer and joists and the attempt to pack out th floor boards.
09.01.2022 Sometimes I cringe when a $20k+ camera and locator tells you where to cut to fix a sewer leak. In the middle of a lounge room Then it’s bang on the money. Mostly the user is why it works out so well. And yes that was not me It was meant to be a day in the office for me never works out that way ha ha. Many hands make light work. Great bunch of blokes = Great team work. Great Australian Services team.
09.01.2022 Some days you win and some days you wonder why you do what you do All suited up & Not Corona virus related. Just a property left in disarray by some chemically effected individuals sadly. Never judge but WOW. Hoping all of our friends family & customers are staying safe. Living the dream
09.01.2022 When you go with one of the guys to do a job for a long term customer I haven’t seen for a while. He cheekily says your grazing in a good paddock I think he is saying my wife’s a good cook lol You know who you are Cheeky OL Bugger.
07.01.2022 What is it with Fridays always surprises popping up. Bending it like Bekham. Upgraded ready for the new Instant hot water. Never enough time in a day
07.01.2022 So apparently there will be a big announcement tomorrow regarding a 14 day lock down. Also maybe bringing forward school holidays. These are very serious actions that in time we will find need to be taken. We will attempt to complete ALL Essential services with a high priority to health and safety to protect our guys and our clients. You will be asked some simple questions before we will book or attend your premises. IF you have elderly that may need some assistance please SMS whats required and we will endeavour to help where we can. Please lets get together and beat this. Remember that working together we prosper divided we beg.
05.01.2022 Things have definitely changed over the years with work experience from High Schools etc. My personal opinion is work experience is one of the best things I ever did and it taught me a lot. Be on time,Be respectful, keep your hands out of your pockets and listen to swear words from the guys putting up with me for 2 weeks but not use them until required when I was older . Seems to be a thing of the past sadly. Well not at Great Australian Services. Old school will never die. Kade from Glenmore Park High is a great young fella who has showed initiative and will do well in any career he chooses. From little things big things grow. Never the same day with what we do.
05.01.2022 Tomorrow is definitely a day of reflection. With current COVID-19 restrictions, sadly no ANZAC Day march OR RSL Clubs to commemorate those that fought for this wonderful country. We are truly blessed. Enjoy a quiet day with family & remember those that fought for what we all have today. Take care. The Team at Great Australian Services.
05.01.2022 What is it with Friday’s always surprises popping up. Bending it like Bekham. Upgraded ready for the new Instant hot water. Never enough time in a day
05.01.2022 Ran into an old mate today. Time flies and it sounds like hes still having fun. Always cracks me up Ian Douglas. A former property manager and more over a life time of Realty. He always seems to bestow some wisdom which never goes astray these days
04.01.2022 Apparently the NBN slows down if the conduit is not kept straight. The 2nd NBN Tech at least tried. Breeding laziness in an industry Hopefully the rodents are skinny. Would take no time to lift the bait box a little and run it underneath. Just a thought.
04.01.2022 Choices Choices. Leave the kid stuck in the toilet or kick the door in. Good old cheap privacy set that fell apart locking the young fella in the toilet. New door, paint & quality privacy lever set.
04.01.2022 When a tenant is a little deflated that your in his vacated unit to pick up the used syringes and repair everything thats been damaged Happy Saturday. Going that extra mile.
04.01.2022 How good is it when an owner actually listens and gets the airconditioning unit to drain to storm water not just drip down next to the slab. This really lowers the prospect of drawing termites to your home. Must of done a little plumbing in his time
03.01.2022 When you go with one of the guys to do a job for a long term customer I havent seen for a while. He cheekily says your grazing in a good paddock I think he is saying my wifes a good cook lol You know who you are Cheeky OL Bugger.
02.01.2022 Now everyone has a niche in life. Some just are not cut out for certain jobs. I know I’ve stuffed up my fair share but learnt. heres an example...using a silicon gun one of our good customers thought he would have a go. He lost the nozzle and thought oh well it’ll look ok mmm no it won’t ha ha. We are always willing to help out anyone who has a question in relation to doing their own work if it’s in line with what we do. Just call. Never a dumb question. Now where’s that scraper at ?!
01.01.2022 So many jobs to do so little time. and that is a good problem to have. Plumbing, Pest Control,Plastering,Locks,Doors, Painting. Need anything ?! Just ask we may do it. We can also organise or recommend reliable Electricians,Glaziers,Real Estates and even a quite clever IT and reliable computer Geek in the local Penrith area where required.
